Your consistent attendance provides the regular repetition that complex physical skills like learning to swim require. Practice, practice, practice makes perfect!

The weather is heating up and so are enrolments for the Game Sport Active Holiday Program!!

Kids will be back in the pool, bouncing off the inflatables, running around on the big oval, and learning hand-eye coordination on the courts. PLUS add-on a learn to swim lesson for a special price!

Congratulations, Brendan! We are proud to celebrate Brendan Keogh, Director of Genesis Sport & Aquatics, on his induction as a Life Member of Swimming Queensland, recognising more than 30 years of outstanding service to swimming.

A highlight of Brendan’s career has been serving as National Para Swimming Head Coach from 2002–2012 and again in 2016, sharing his expertise and passion while helping athletes reach the highest levels of the sport.

His contribution extends far beyond coaching. Brendan has developed swimmers, coaches and clubs, mentored countless people across the industry, and played a leading role in creating the Multi-Class Point Score System, now implemented nationally to support fair and equitable competition for swimmers with a disability.

Kids, you are learning to be comfortable in the water, getting your face wet through to swimming short distances independently!! What amazing skills to have!

Learning to swim takes overcoming nervousness and developing trust. We're so proud of both of you for the progress you are making!

Genesis Tennis entered teams in the Tennis Queensland Orange Ball and Green Ball Primary School Cup competitions this week. 🎾

The Orange Ball teams had a fantastic day and Coach Nick was really pleased with how well all of our students performed. The standard of tennis was excellent, but more importantly, the behaviour, sportsmanship and overall expectations of our players throughout the day were exceptional. They represented GSA and their school, Genesis Christian College , extremely well.

These results are a great reflection of the continued improvement we are seeing across the program. The players are developing really well, and it is great to now see that improvement translating into results in competitions like this.

A big credit goes to the students for their effort and attitude, as well as the coaching team for the work they continue to put into developing the players.

We've got a full holiday program planned!

A special class will be returning to the holiday line-up - Dive and Turn Clinic! This is an awesome opportunity to focus on those tricky manoeuvres and feel more confident getting into and moving about in the water.
