⚾️ FROM RAPIDS JUNIOR TO BASEBALL QUEENSLAND HALL OF FAME! ⚾️

Pine Rivers Rapids Baseball Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Brad Dutton on his upcoming induction into the Baseball Queensland Hall of Fame! 🏆

Brad’s baseball journey has well and truly come full circle. Starting out as a Rapids junior, he went on to build an incredible career in Queensland baseball before eventually returning home to Rapids as Head Coach of our Division 1 and Division 2 teams.

His impact was immediate, helping lead Rapids to a Division 1 Premiership in our very first season back in the competition, and since then guiding our senior teams to multiple finals appearances.

But Brad’s contribution to Rapids goes far beyond results on the field. His experience, knowledge and passion for the game have been invaluable to our players and our club, particularly the next generation coming through.

From a young player wearing the Rapids colours to becoming a Queensland baseball great — we couldn’t be prouder to have Brad as part of the Rapids family.

A very well-deserved honour for an incredible baseball career spanning more than 40 years.

Congratulations Brad! Once a Rapid, always a Rapid! 💚💛

Long before Brad Dutton pulled on a Queensland jersey, he was standing on the other side of the diamond – watching his idols wear it.

What followed is a career spanning more than 40 years and counting. One where he wrote himself into the history books and inspired a new generation of baller.

In a few short weeks, Brad's contribution to baseball across the state will be recognised as he is inducted into Baseball Queensland's Hall of Fame.

Rapids families, please note that the Make-Up Skills Testing scheduled for Saturday, 29th August has been rescheduled.

🌟2026 BRISBANE ASSOCIATION SEMINAR🌟

The annual Brisbane Association Seminar will be hosted by All Stars Baseball Club Inc. on Saturday the 19th of September to Sunday the 20th of September.

This is the only planned Association Umpire Accreditation seminar in Brisbane for the Greater Brisbane League Baseball 26/27 season, so mark your calendars. Both days start at 8:30am, with lunch provided on the Saturday.
