Two years of Core Motion.
I’ve been trying to think of what to say about that, and honestly, the biggest thing I feel is gratitude.
Because the truth is, you’ve given me far more than a Pilates studio full of clients.
There have been days over the last two years when I’ve questioned myself, wondered if I was doing the right thing, or simply wondered if I was capable of building something of my own.
And then you’d walk through the door.
You’d show up for your session. You’d tell me about something that had changed in your body. You’d trust me when I asked you to try something that felt difficult. You’d come back after an injury or a tough week. You’d tell me you felt stronger, moved better, had less pain, or simply felt more like yourself.
And without necessarily knowing it, you kept reminding me why I was doing this.
You gave me hope on the days I needed it. You made me believe in what I was building. And you’ve probably had no idea how often your showing up got me through a difficult day.
I’m so grateful that you trust me with your bodies, but even more than that, I’m grateful that you’ve trusted me enough to let me be part of your lives in some small way.
Watching you get stronger, become more confident in your bodies and realise what you’re capable of is genuinely one of the best parts of what I do.
So this anniversary isn’t really about the studio.
It’s about you.
Thank you for showing up. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, your conversations, your laughs, and for making this place feel like so much more than a business.
You’ve helped me believe that I really can do this.
Two years in, and I’m still incredibly grateful that you’re here.
