The Bright Alpine Climb - 4 Peaks is one of Australia's original mountain and trail running events: now in its 46th year!! We encourage athletes of all abilities to take on the challenge of completing 4 mountain climbs over 4 days of the Melbourne Cup long weekend 31st Oct to 3rd November 2026.

Day 1 is 10.5km/1345m climb up Mt Buffalo
Day 2 is 12km/1652m climb up Mt Feathertop
Day 3 is 14km/1867m climb up Bon Accord Spur to Mt Hotham
Day 4 is 14km/800m climb up Mystic Hill from the stunning Nightingale Bros Alpine Produce Farm in Wandiligong.

BRIGHT ALPINE CLIMB 2026 - SAVE THE DATE

After holding the Bright Alpine Climb on the November Melbourne Cup long weekend for the last 45 years (well minus a few covid interruptions) we probably don't need to remind everyone but here it is.

The 2026 event will return 31st October to 3rd November, 2026

The provisional schedule is below, but keep in mind we might throw a few changes next year to keep everyone excited...
