🏑PLAYER SUCCESS STORY🏑

Last week, u12 players and siblings Elise and Josh Leighton won regionals in their school tournament 👏

Starting as players in the u10 competition, the Kilvington Grammar students have now been playing for three years at BPS and are soon to head off to the state competition in September to represent their school!

The Victorian inter-school state competition will be played 10 September at Footscray Hockey Club, the siblings are playing together in mixed team within the Southern Metro boy's division and will play three rounds to determine which top two teams play the final.

Best of luck to Elise and Josh, we're backing you all the way🔥

🔥RESULTS ROUNDUP - FINALS🔥

Week two of finals is complete!

Our u16 Girl's Pennant toughed it out against rivals Casey but couldn't finish them off in their third grand final against them. Great job girls, it was an awesome season 🔥

The Men's VL2 lost against Brunswick and are now out of the finals, with our Women's Metro moving on to play in the grand final after their amazing win beating Doncaster in a close match💪

Last week our Masters teams all won in their semi finals to move into the grand final matches this week, best of luck to our teams competing during the week!

🏆FINALS FIXTURE - WEEK TWO🏆

BPS's finals campaign continues this week with juniors and seniors matches, our masters join the fray having already played this week with resounding success!

The Men's 60+ A beat Southern and the Men's 60+ B won against Camberwell. The Men's Open team beat Waverly in a close match, all teams are on to the grand final next week.

The Girl’s u16 Pennant are playing the grand final for the top title against Casey Friday night, let's go team 💪

Over the weekend, our seniors play in their preliminary finals. Women’s Metro take on Doncaster on Sunday at 4:00pm at Elgar Park, and the Men’s Vic League 2 verses Brunswick on Saturday at 2:00pm in at Footscray HC.

Here are the results from the last of the winter season from our u12 and u10 matches, and Masters Round 18.

Three of our masters teams will be moving onto finals to join the BPS campaign with the Mid Week Open team finishing 4th, the Men’s Masters 60A finishing 2nd and Men’s Masters 60B having finished 3rd 💪

🏆FINALS FIXTURES - WEEK ONE🏆

It’s finals time!

We have an action packed weekend with six BPS teams taking on the first round of finals.

Juniors are up first with Girl’s u16 Pennant verses TEMs, Boy’s u14 Pennant verses MCC and Mixed u14 District verses MHSOB, competing all on Friday night.

Over the weekend, first up for seniors is Women’s Metro on Saturday at 2:00pm against Brunswick at Albert Park.

On Sunday, our Women’s Premier League is in at 1:00pm for their first ever time in finals. They play Waverley at Hedley Hull Field, let’s get down to support this huge match in their finals campaign 🔥

Our Men’s Vic League 2 verses Dandenong in Dandenong at 4:00pm are last on the fixture for Sunday.

We can’t wait to see these teams play, and welcome everyone to show up and support the them as our Saints begin their finals.

🏑END OF SEASON - JUNIORS🏑

It was short and sweet, but the juniors winter season is now over 💚🖤❤️

Shoutout to all of our juniors playing across the competition this season, moving grades and scrambles for players made for an exciting season, but nothing more than the efforts of all our players 💪

The talent from this year is definitely shining🔥

With the completion of the season, it's time for finals! Playing finals are our Girl's u16 Pennant finishing 2nd, our Boy's u14 Pennant finishing at 4th and finally our Mixed u14 finishing also in 2nd🏆🏆🏆

We can't wait to get down to support you all!

The 2026 winter season is officially over 💚🖤❤️

Thank you to every single player who came out week after week, rain or shine, to take on the game this season🔥

It was a fantastic year with heaps of growth and plenty of player movement between the grades, many new and returning players, it's clear BPS is thriving every single year 💪

Though the official season is over, finals is just about to begin! For the first time ever our Women's Premier League team is playing finals after finishing 5th, as well as our Men's Vic League 2 finishing 2nd and Women's Metro finishing 3rd 🏆🏆🏆
