Yesterday’s race from Bookaloo we had a big turnout of 11 owners which is good to see. John Luter continued his good form on from last week but going one better for the win and he advised with the same bird. In second we Grant Sheehan which proves the loft manager looks after his own birds better than Tom’s. Then in third was Troy Tirrell. Well done to all place getters and owners who flew as all had reasonable returns which is good for later races. Have a good week all and until next week good flying 👍

Well last weeks race from Paruna was won by Madigan Lofts (Trevor Madigan) in his first race for the year. Then in second was John Luter which is great to see with the amount of work he does around the club. Then third was ever consistent Michael Donnellan well done to all who raced. Believe most had good returns which is good to see. Good luck all in this weekends racing.

This weekend’s results from Stirling North was a bit of a harder fly with the birds having to deal with head winds. This week saw Troy Tirrell take the win beating Michael Donnellan who just beat Tom Tirrell by 4 seconds. Therefore I have been told Tom is going to be speaking with his loft manager to work on the speed of the birds arrival to cut out wasted time. I believe most had good returns again which is pleasing for continued good numbers for the remainder of the year.

As I was away I don’t have the full story but believe there were some issues with some clocks so the results may not be a true indication of what the results would have been. Well done all and continued good flying.

Bit late but here are the results from the first race of the year which was from Warnertown. Winner was Mark Coates who is always consistent and Rob Keszler was second but would say his loft manager should take most of the credit, and rounding out the top 3 was Michael Donnellan who over the last couple of years has also been around the mark. Well done all flyers and may we have a year full of good racing.

May next year be even better than this one for us and we all breed a few winners. Stay safe over the break and when racing starts again will try to be better with the results in 2022.

A great night at the SAHPA presentation dinner where Michael Donnellan won the trophy for the first C**k bird home from Alice Springs LDC race which was 7th in the result and one of the clubs old Members John Paul Nicoli picked up his trophy for winning the great race from Alice Springs this year.
