WELCOME TO ROUND 1 AT THOMPSON OVAL!

This weekend marks a massive milestone as we play our very first games in our inaugural season!

We are incredibly fortunate to call Thomson Oval our home ground. Having access to such fantastic facilities in our very first year is something we don't take for granted, and we want to extend a huge thank you to the Brighton Council and the Southern Cricket Association for their support in making this happen.

To ensure we look after our new home, keep everyone safe, and remain welcome hosts, please remember the following ground rules:

Smoking/Vaping: Only smoke or v**e in designated areas away from the building and spectators, and please ensure all cigarette butts are completely extinguished and disposed of properly.

Alcohol & Driving: Alcohol is to be consumed strictly within the designated wet area only. Please drink responsibly—if you plan on having a few drinks to celebrate, make sure you have a designated driver or safe transport organized.

Bins & Rubbish: Please dispose of empty cans, rubbish, and litter in the bins around the ground. Treat the ground like it’s your own home.

Respect & Behaviour: We pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment. Please show respect to all players, umpires, opposition, and spectators, both on and off the field.

Let’s look after our ground, look out for one another, represent our club with pride, and enjoy a great weekend of cricket!,

We would like to acknowledge the fantastic feedback following last night’s training session and express our gratitude to our coaching panel.

Special thanks to Nathaniel J Maynard for delivering an engaging fielding session that balanced great skill development with an enjoyable atmosphere, particularly for our newer players. We also extend our appreciation to head coach David George for devoting extra time to the womens batting development, and to our women's Mathew Thompson for his continuous dedication and hard work in supporting the ladies team.

Thank you all for your leadership and commitment to our club’s growth!
