Off-Piste Campers

The start of a simple build for a local here in BNE. Wanted a simple electrical fit out, to run a new Engel, and add on a 2000w inverter later on, drawers supplied by Drifta, removable from the back of Derrick Kennedys N80 Hilix.

Battery - Invicta Black 200ah - w Bluetooth
Victron - 100/30 - MPPT
Victron - 12/12/30 - DC2DC
Victron - 500a Smart Shunt
Alvolta - Mega Fuse + Holder
Alvolta - 6 Way Led Fuse Block
Alvolta - 300a - Mini Battery Switch

All mounted so access is easy, fully removable via Anderson connectors, and finally ran some decent 10mm2 cable in the Engine bay for the Dc2Dc and Trailer Anderson.

Off-Piste Campers normally stick to supply only however Derricks has been a long time customer and big supporter, plus we had a custom fitter direct from San Juan for the day. Den Zel cheers for the hand!!

We like our nice things!! So every time we dispatch "The Kamper", we ensure it drives away looking schmick as!! Nothing like a pre hire clean. 👌👌

Was time to upgrade the onboard electrics with something that ticked my tech box. The Kamper was rocking a Enerdrive 40amp DC2DC but it couldn't handle the 440w Alvolta HV Panels from Springers Solar - Energy Systems Test results to follow!!! Stay off-grid for longer!!!

All cleaned, polished and stocked ready for it's next adventure.

No better way to start a wash when the trailer returns, then with a soak of snow foam. The Kamper gets this often along with a full chassis internal clean using the products.
