See this incredible front and back Dashcam footage from my 17-year-old Ford Territory. The incident happened at 10.22 am 28th February 2023 on Hampstead Road Manningham, Adelaide South Aust. I left Valley View golf course and was just heading to our Virtual Reality Adelaide shop in Grenfell St when I travelled past a B Double Semi Trailer. I had just got in front when there was a very loud crunch, and looking in my rear mirror, I saw the truck was out of control and bearing down on me. For a few seconds, I thought I was a goner. I accelerated away and realised he had mounted the pavement and was crashing into everything.

I pulled over about 50 meters up the road and raced back to see the damage. I was first on the scene and helped the driver out of the cabin. He had blood on his face but was otherwise OK and he told me he had just fainted. He then almost collapsed on the ground. There were loads of strange noises coming from the truck, and I was worried a fire could start. I was later told a lot of the noise was from a gas main the truck had hit. Unbelievable that no one was killed or badly injured. Just shows what can happen to anyone in any given moment.
