The Wild Movement is a holistic movement training space that meets you where you are at

05/03/2026

Next week is Progress Week in The Wild. Itโ€™s an opportunity to get benchmarks. Itโ€™s feedback on how things are travelling.
Yesterday a few members pushed as they have been going very well.
Video 1: Judith deadlifting (overhand grip) 100kg x 2 reps. We will just safely say this sort of loading is what helped reverse her osteopenia diagnosis.
Video 2: Krista personal best 145kg. Not bad to still be hitting personal bests after 15 years of consistent training. Video 3: Zac hitting an easy equal best 245kg.

Strength is for everyone. The positive impact it has on your body, and mind - along with cardiovascular work should be your first priority for overall health and longevity.

What doesnโ€™t matter ? How much you actually can lift.
What Does matter ? You are consistently doing the practice and trying to improve.

If you are an exceptional coach and want a new place to call home. It might be time to come to The Wild. The place where our goal is to give our clients the best experience inside every session by meeting them where they are at on all levels.

If you think you can connect with people well, walk the walk with health and have great hands on coaching skills we want to hear from you.

The role is flexible but it will be salary and your hours are set. There is no finding clients and no paying rent. We are ideally looking for a coach that wants 15-25 hours per week including coaching and some other admin type work.

Why our members train with us:
We recently did our anonymous survey for our members. The biggest things that came back were; The care and passion our coaches have, the programming and just the feel and culture that exists inside the walls of TWM.

Heading into our 9th year soon, we must be doing something right ๐Ÿ˜€ every year we try and improve our service. This year we have more development lined up for our coaches and more workshops lined up for our members than ever before!

Congrats to Katrina, another first timer for Big Bad Wolf ๐Ÿบ in our Progress Week 2 weeks ago!

Katrina managed a massive 190kg x 5 on Hip Thrust!

Forever on our honour board (and probably for many more movements in the future).

It was only a matter of time before Chris snagged Big Bad Wolf ๐Ÿบ on the rower.

He managed to do our highest movement standard twice last week. The first one being sub 7 minutes for 2km and the second being 315 metres minimum for our lactate 4 x 1 minute on 1 minute off.

Congrats Chris ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Congratulations to Laura for reaching her first Big Bad Wolf ๐Ÿบ with us last week in Progress Week!
Laura achieved our highest level on the rower, hitting a minimum of 280 metres on her 4 x 1 minute on / 1 minute off. Lauraโ€™s technique vastly improved after attending our row / ski workshop 2 months ago!

Forever on our honour board!

Sean has slowly just been working at his skill game. He started abit over 2 years with us and has done 227 sessions. He started with our Pack Strength and then fell in love with our Pack Skill (calisthenics) and Handstand sessions.

From not being able to handstand at all to now holding a personal best of 26 seconds - that is a great progression and one skill that his kids will love โค๏ธ

When Andrei joined us in the middle of the year he really wanted to make a physical transformation.

He got completely stuck in and put on a lot of muscle and along the way started completely learning calisthenics with us. He already had good strength but has built upon it and is now on our honour board for our highest movement standard, Big Bad Wolf for 1rm Dip.

Well done Andrei, keep turning up for you mate.
