Cluts runs out for his 200th senior game.

🕗 6th Grade | 8:00pm

“There’s a lot I could say about Cluts and his place in the club. I could talk about good seasons and premierships, bad seasons and desperate efforts to avoid forfeits. I’ve played with Josh since his first senior season and no matter what success we’ve had or how well we’ve played, two things have always been clear – he loves his footy and he loves his club.

Josh has been an essential part of building the Friday night footy culture that is a big part of the club. Without his efforts I doubt we’d have the Friday night family at all. But his contribution hasn’t been limited to the Friday night team. He’s made a huge contribution to the social workings of the club, been an official and unofficial leader in the club for many years and made substantial contributions to coaching and management, as well as financial contributions to the club. Most recently, Josh has stepped up and filled an important role leading the 5th Grade team, which has been a very difficult position for some time.

The biggest compliment I think I can give is that I don’t know anyone that loves footy, GPS and his mates as much as Josh does. At its core that’s what club rugby is about, and all the boys, myself included, look up to him and admire him for it. Congratulations, mate.”
