Hello Games family, just wanted to highlight a recent award presented to our very own Mac Russell.
I'm sure many of you remember him from GG2019 and the OAGames 2022.
His journey, like many that are supported and nurtured by Sport Inclusion Australia is made possible with support from the people in this FB Group also.
Please drop him a note to celebrate with Mac!

Recently, the Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022 Commemorative Gift was presented to key partners, theAustralian Government, Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and major sponsor Battery World.
The gift is one of sixteen Medal Trays designed for the OA Games 2022, hand painted by Indigenous artist Ailsa Walsh Wulkuraka Designs. Ailsa also shared her tribal connection through art and presented Sport Inclusion Australia with the artwork 'Meeanjin Welcomes You' as part of SIA’s Reflect RAP journey.
Affixed to the trays are the official Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals of the OA Games 2022, minted at the Royal Australian Mint and features the designs of the gum leaves to represent the resilience in the athletes and the Brisbane ‘Meeanjin’ River to represent the host city and legacy of Virtus Games in Australia.
The legacy of the OA Games 2022 will continue to build awareness for athletes with an intellectual impairment, with the support from all levels of government and sponsors.
