Physio-Led Arabesque Workshop for CAPA Students 🤩🙌 Safely improve arabesque height, control & line 🩰
Is your child working hard on their arabesque but not seeing it improve?

Do they want to “lift higher” but aren’t sure how—or do they feel it in their lower back or hips?
This small-group workshop will help ballet students understand what’s limiting their arabesque and learn the key exercises to improve it safely and effectively.

What you will learn 🌟
In this practical, dancer-specific session we will cover:
- The most common reasons arabesque gets “stuck” (hip mobility, strength, pelvic control, thoracic rotation)
- How to improve arabesque without over-arching the lower back
- Simple activation and strengthening exercises to build better lift and control
- Tips to support healthy hips and backs during training and growth
- Students will leave with a clear plan and exercises they can continue at home and in class.

Where: CAPA Studios
When: Thursday 9th July, 3:30–4:45pm (75 minutes)
Who: CAPA Ballet Students — all ages welcome
Cost: $65
Spots: Capped at 15 students to ensure individual attention
What to wear: Comfortable dance attire
What to bring: A yoga/pilates mat if you have one (some exercises are on the floor)
