Standing Pilates this morning… where posture, balance and coordination were all tested… including Marg’s reflexes 📸😂
One minute we were calmly working on core strength… the next minute a green resistance band was flying through the air like it had a personal vendetta against the photographer 💚🤣
Thankfully no photographers were harmed in the making of this class.
Just a bunch of strong women, lots of laughs and a reminder that fitness after 50 should still be FUN 💗

It was lovely to have Debbie pop in for our annual Evil Barbee State of Origin photo this morning 💙❤️

As you can see, the Queensland crew came in strong, there were plenty of dramatic poses, a little bit of pretend fighting, and absolutely no chance of anyone changing teams 😜
No matter what side you’re on, one thing is certain — the Evil Barbee crew knows how to bring the fun 📸💪

After spending time swanning around in her pyjamas, we thought it was only fitting that Narelle’s official return to Evil Barbee came with a pyjama party welcome 😂💗
The Ladies understood the assignment… dressing gowns, slippers, leopard print, curlers and all!
Safe to say Narelle has been VERY missed and the studio definitely feels brighter with her back in the room. 💪✨

5 minutes in… my headphones died.
7 minutes later… my Apple Watch died.
No music. No stats. No distractions.
I seriously considered packing up and going home because as most of you know… silence and Mel are not usually best friends 😜
But an hour and a half later, I walked out feeling calmer than I have in a long time.
Turns out the peace and quiet was actually lovely 💗
And as an added bonus, I got to see the gorgeous Ileana, which always makes my day a little brighter ✨
A little reminder that sometimes when things go wrong… they actually go right.

Some mornings just fill your heart 💗
I took the boys out for a little treat before school this morning… but the real treat was all mine.
Completely by chance, I ran into two original Evil Barbee girls — beautiful Jann and Karen. Jann now lives up the coast, and Karen has moved away from The Gap, so seeing them both together again was something really special.
One of the loveliest parts of Evil Barbee over the years has never just been the training… it’s been the friendships and the connections that stay with you long after classes finish.
My heart was very full this morning. What an absolute joy to see these beautiful women again.
