The Open Women’s division was eight deep and stacked with both fresh faces and seasoned competitors — and it absolutely delivered 🔥.
Making her Strongman debut, the world’s strongest female powerlifter Sarah Rainbow absolutely dominated the field — taking out five of the six event wins on her way to the title with 46.5 points 🏆. Sarah is the full package: a freak athlete, genetically gifted, ridiculously strong, and a genuine human through and through.
In second place, Elly Latemore put on a brilliant fight for silver 🥈, with Shauna Maher battling hard to lock in the bronze 🥉.
The competition was fierce all day, with battles across the board making this division one of the most exciting to watch. And with Sarah just beginning her Strongman journey, the big question is… what’s next? Because this was only the beginning. 💪

The big boys never disappoint, and this year’s Heavyweight Men’s field of 10 was absolutely stacked with talent 💥.
Taking the crown once again was Dylan Lockard, no stranger to this stage and proving why he’s one of the best. Dylan is a giant of a human, strong as an ox, and an outstanding athlete — showing once more why his name is etched into the history of Queensland’s Strongest 🏆.
Right behind him, Lachlan Breen powered his way into second 🥈, and Coco muscled into third 🥉 with another strong showing.
This is a division people love to watch — big men, big lifts, big moments. Some massive numbers were thrown down, some brutal reps were fought for, and the battle across the whole class was incredible to witness.
Queensland’s Strongest Man — the title says it all. 👑

The Under 90kg Men lit it up at Queensland’s Strongest 2025 💥
Taking the win in commanding fashion was Mason Douglas-Cartwright, showing his experience and dominance with 5 out of 6 event victories 🏆. Mason’s no stranger to the sport — often stepping into the U105s — but this weekend he stamped his mark back in the U90s with authority.
Right on his heels, Dean Paterson fought hard for second 🥈, and Justin Heim locked in third 🥉. The battle across this podium was fierce — with only 5 points separating first to third, every event mattered.
A stacked class, a close fight, the U90s were one to watch. 🔥

The Masters U73 Women brought absolute fire to Queensland’s Strongest 2025 🔥
Nardia Styles came in unstoppable — taking out five of the six events to secure a commanding first place finish 🏆. An incredible display of strength, grit, and consistency across the board.
In second place, Courtney Thurgar battled hard for her well-earned silver 🥈, and Sarah Woodham locked in third with a strong showing to round out the podium 🥉.
It’s so good to see our Masters categories thriving — these women prove time and time again that strength doesn’t fade, it only grows. Every bit as tough, talented, and competitive as their weight-class counterparts 💪
The future of Strongman is for everyone — and the Masters are showing exactly how it’s done. 👏

The Under 64kg Women put on an absolute show at Queensland’s Strongest 2025 👏
Taking the crown was Frances LoLohea, pulling away with a commanding 38 points and proving why she’s a force to be reckoned with, taking the win in 3 out of the 6 events 🔥 Pure consistency, pure strength, pure class.
Snapping at her heels, Ashleigh Trost secured second on 29.5 points, with Stacey Nowlan right behind to round out the podium in third 🥈🥉.
This was one of the biggest and deepest U64 fields we’ve seen — seven strong women battling it out across the weekend. The depth, the talent, and the standard of lifting in this class is incredible, and it’s only getting better.
The future of the U64 division? It’s looking damn strong. 💪
