Some days, I really don’t feel like training.
On those days, the workout has to feel simple in my head — something I know I can do. Because let’s be honest, this is mind over matter. Short reps. Heavy weight.
That combo always works on me. It tricks my brain into thinking, “Easy enough.”
The reality? Still very challenging — but it gets me through.
One bell. Three exercises. 30 minutes on the clock.

I still have some room in my evening group classes especially designed for women over 50 🏋♀️
Weight training is a necessity - just like good nutrition and drinking water. WE NEED TO BE DOING IT!

Part of being good at what you do is loving what you do.
But even more important is the commitment to keep learning, growing, and refining your craft.

After I had my daughter—my firstborn, way back in 2005—I had never felt so fragile. On one of my early morning walks (very early) with her in the pram, I remember looking down at her in absolute awe of what I had created. At the same time, a thought hit me hard: I needed to be strong. Strong enough to protect her, no matter what.
From that moment, training my body took on a whole new meaning. It was no longer just about how I looked—that became the bonus. It was about being strong, healthy, and fit for her, and for me.
I had already been weight training for nearly 10 years, but that day it shifted into something much deeper ❤️
