This version of “Adawwa” was originally taught by Imbulgoda Gurunnanse. It has been passed down through generations and was taught to me by my mother, Shirani De Costa. I am deeply grateful to carry forward this treasured tradition and to honor the lineage of my teachers.

P.S Each dancer may perform this Adawwa in a unique way, reflecting their own style and artistic expression.🙏🏻
