Spiritual Bypassing — “Love and Light” Isn’t Always Healing
Have you ever tried to “stay positive” when you were really hurting?
That’s something called spiritual bypassing — using spiritual ideas to avoid pain.
It might sound like:
✨ “Everything happens for a reason.”
✨ “I only focus on the light.”
While the intention is good, true healing asks us to feel everything — not to escape it.
You can hold both love and pain, light and shadow.
That balance is where your deepest peace lives. 🌕
Dissociation — When You Feel “Not Quite Here”
Sometimes, when life feels too big, your mind protects you by gently stepping away — you feel disconnected, spacey, or numb.
That’s called dissociation — and it’s not weakness. It’s your nervous system saying, “This is too much right now.”
Healing begins by coming back home to the body, little by little:
💫 Feel your feet on the ground.
💫 Take one deep breath and feel it move through you.
💫 Notice what’s here, right now, without judgment.
The goal isn’t to “stay positive” — it’s to feel safe being present.
That’s where real calm and power return. 🌿
