Hands down the best event I’ve been to in years 👏🏼👏🏼
Yesterday I spent the day at Gather by and honestly, wow.
Venue, speakers, topics, attendees = solid 10/10.
A common theme that came from all of the speakers is that brand and content is just SO important!!
In a world full of AI, it’s more important than ever to be creating content that sparks emotion, connects with your people and stands out.
No more boring content, basic Canva graphics and just using socials to tick a box 👀

Some of the campaigns and pieces of content I saw over International Women’s Day were 10/10, but some.. 👀
Every year brands show up for days like IWD, but there’s a big difference between being apart of the conversation and just ticking the box…
The posts that stopped the scroll were different.
They felt intentional.
They weren’t like anything else I had seen.
The ones I skipped?
Usually the same graphics and the same messaging.
They were just ‘ticking the box’.
These moments on the calendar are huge opportunities for brands to share how they can connect with their community through content, but some brands just miss the mark.

This month has been quiet getting back into the swing of things after 8 months off but it has stilll seriously been the best!
1. Started with my new DREAM client and supported her at a birthday campaign shoot
2. Lunch with my new team member who’ll be starting in a few months time 🥹
3. Upgraded the work phone - Yay for content!!
4. The sweetest message from my client 🥹
5. We went viral on Tik Tok 👀
6. Obsessed with the content we captured for 👏🏼

In 2026, we don’t do ‘just post more’ or ‘just post something’ and I’ll tell you why 👀
Gone are the day’s of just posting to post… Social media is flooded with brands and there is so much noise across all of the platforms.
You don’t just need a strategy, you need a way you’re going to cut through the noise and actually be remembered.
And here’s the thing most brands forget, main characters don’t build audiences, they build communities (Hello Swifties 👀).
Here are some things to think about:
❤️ What campaigns will you be running this year?
❤️ Why should someone stop scrolling for your brand?
❤️ Why should someone want to follow and stay?
❤️ How are you inviting your audience into the story?

In 2026, it’s time to focus on how many people are actually seeing & enjoying your content.
