Shane Van Gisbergens definitely beginning to go North in qualifying.
● Our ex-drivers Champion will be starting tomorrow mornings Cup-Series race, at the Pocono Raceway circuit in Long Pond Pennsylvania, from 23rd.
● Hopefully Shanes season will continue to improve as the first few months of his maiden Championship campaign in the series have been extremely challenging, even for such a highly talented and distinguished driver.

It's pretty involved being a Hogmalation team.
● There's so much involved with becoming a winning team in our series _ HOWEVER, to also take-on the hogmalation duties for one of Motorsports biggest names ....... that really tests your teams dedication and resourcefulness.
● Who-ever takes over from Triple Eight, they'll definitely have a great deal of work and sleepless nights ahead, especially if they want to keep the name-plate being regular podium-finishers.
● Click-on the link-below for a brief insight into what's required to become a successful hogmalation team, plus how the use of simulation technology can help save with both time and $'s, especially as the rules in our series for testing apply to everyone ....... with only two permissable days a year, even if your a manufacturers hogmalation team _ 🖱

Are we possibly looking at the move to Ford by Triple Eight from the wrong perspective _ 🤔
● I think that people should look at this situation as being a major positive for our series.
● Triple Eight have done an incredible job with the hogmalation of the Camaro, and they'll now do the same with the Mustangs.
● On social-media we shouldn't be having a jumbled up discussion or reading so called experts comments regarding the future of GM.
● We should, in my opinion, be having a conversation or debate regarding the best thing for our series going forward, and the action on-track between our teams and drivers in their [hopefully by the end of 2026] equally hogmalated race-cars.
● The Camaro name on our cars has been replaced from this season to Chevrolet, so there's no reason at all why the car shouldn't be used in our series for another 3 or 4 years.
● After-all ...... how many years did we use Commodores [as a model, as I realise there was many versions of the car] or Falcons, even COFT, in our category for example _ 🤔 _ so why can't the Gen3-era be the same with the Camaro, Mustang and soon the Supra _ 🤔
● With Triple Eights hogmalation of the Mustang, and WAU doing likewise with the Toyota Supra, we'd then have at-least 2 or maybe 3 seasons of Chevrolet [Camaro] v Mustang v Supra.
● I must add that I don't personally think that DJR, or their respective supporters, should in anyway feel embarrassed regarding the evolving situation.
● They [DJR] became a 'Powerhouse' in our series when Penske entered the equation in 2013 and should be extremely proud of their achievements in our category during this partnership with Roger Penske and his team.
Unfortunately, since the departure of Team Penske, and the massive financial backing they bought, they haven't been able to maintain their 'Powerhouse' status, which is why I think they'll gain massively not having the pressures involved with hogmalation _ hopefully being able to now concentrate on themselves as a team and return to the winners rostrum again.

Awesome result for Shane Van Gisbergen following the opening race of his maiden Xfinity Series play-off campaign, plus at a circuit he'd never competed at before.
▪︎ Shane had a 'Bag of nails' race car all day and definitely deserves the praise that's due for showing his talent and determination to never give-up _ no matter what.
▪︎ He's one of the Worlds best drivers, so it really annoys me how people on social media still try to find fault in his results.
▪︎ First year in a completely new series of racing with a average season finish of 15th.
5th in the standings going into the play-offs, and he's still in the top-8 after todays race _ I definitely see no fault in this fact.
▪︎ Absolutely awesome achievement for a driver who's never raced on Ovals or competed in short circuit racing, especially around 'Drafting' reliant tracks.
▪︎ Shane has class, so for 'Gods sake' why not start recognising this fact by getting behind him rather than finding every kind of negative regarding his performances.
▪︎ People who continuously do this type of thing aren't supporters of either Shane or any kind of Motorsport.
▪︎ Your just simply small minded individuals who think your 'big and brave' while sat behind your keyboards or on your mobile devices _ when really your just sad and pathetic people who have no kind of life.
▪︎ "Yes" Shane did get some luck today, especially with the timing of his final pit-stop, but everyone needs luck in all categorys of Motorsport.
▪︎ However, you also need the race-craft and talent to make this respective luck work in your favor.
▪︎ Results have to be earned, and Shane definitely earned his 8th-place finish today.
▪︎ CONGRATULATIONS SHANE VAN GISBERGEN, plus well-done to Kaulig Racing for not giving-up _ even when nothing seemed to work.
▪︎ Good-luck to Shane and the entire team for next weekends event [hopefully with a much improved race-car] and another awesome result.

Congratulations Boost, Peter Adderton plus Shaw and Partners.
▪︎ People always look to 'Slag off' Peter Adderton whenever the situation comes around, so it's awesome that most people on social media aren't doing it on this occasion _ although unfortunately there's still a few 'Gutter level keyboard warriors' saying their views.
▪︎ Yes he has his moments, but when it comes down to it he always puts his money down as promised, especially when it's helping a young up and coming Driver or a team like Chahda Racing who want to enter this years Endurance events for the sheer love of our sport.
▪︎ Respect to you Peter Adderton.
▪︎ Hopefully others will realise you can only be a positive for Australasian Motorsport.
Respect also to Shaw and Partners.
▪︎ They didn't have to back the team, especially as they've money invested in Triple Eight _ but they've shown their passion for Motorsport, and Supercars, in doing so.
▪︎ They've also given financial assistance to a family run team who want to race, for their love of it all.
🤞 Good-luck this weekend to everyone involved with Chahda Racing. 🤞
