Not a season to remember, but definitely the final day we would want.

Sapphire Nepalese Strikers [166-8] def Nepali Warriors [130-9] by 36 runs.

A much-awaited performance with the bat from the team as Mausham Kaphle (65) set the tone and the support of Safal (41) ensured a good total to defend.

The total was then backed well by bowlers Prajwal (3 wickets), Safal (2 wickets), Rohan, Sujan, and Suvam (1 wicket each).

Mausham Kaphle secured a well-deserved player of the match award for his batting as well as taking 3 catches in the field.

We respect Nepali Warriors for their fight shown throughout the game despite being one man short. We would love to face you again.

As the summer cricket season comes to wrap for us, we want to thank all the players and their family members for their season-long support. We are forever grateful to Sapphire Estate Agents Queensland for supporting us through this season and many more to come.

A positive start to the year as we finally get back to winning.

Sapphire Nepalese Strikers [156-7] def NICE Nepalese Cricket Club Brisbane [102-9] by 54 runs.

An exciting and explosive batting display from Sushovit scoring 41* off 18 balls ensured he had a good total to defend when he came back to bowl. Credit also goes to the Manish duo for their scores of 20 and 33.

Complementing his batting, Sushovit also shone with the ball as he grabbed 2 wickets, supported by Rohan with his 2 wickets, followed by Prajwal and Manish (c) with a wicket each.

The 'player of the match' award deservedly goes to Sushovit Upadhaya for his all-round heroics. Couldn't have done it without him.

We shall stay positive and work hard as there are more wins to grab this year. Thanks to Sapphire Estate Agents Queensland for their continuous support this season and more.
