Navratri Day 9 :Pink (Devi Siddhidhatri)

Siddhidhatri or Siddhidatri is the ninth and final among the Navadurga (nine forms) aspects of the Hindu mother goddess Mahadevi.
The meaning of her name is as follows: Siddhi means supernatural power or meditative ability, and Dhatri means giver or bestower.
Maa Siddhidatri is revered as the giver of eight siddhis - Anima, Mahima, Garima, Laghima, Prapti, Prakamya, Ish*tva, and Vash*tva—helping devotees transcend ego and material attachments to attain inner peace and moksha.

Navratri Day 8: Peacock Green (Devi Mahagauri)

Maa Mahagauri, the eighth incarnation of Goddess Durga, symbolizes the transformative journey facilitated by devotion and inner purification.
As the embodiment of beauty, purity, and serenity, her name is rooted in her unwavering dedication to winning Lord Shiva's affection through intense penance.
The etymology of her name reveals 'Maha' to mean 'great' or 'supreme,' and 'Gauri' to signify 'fair' or 'white.'

Noopur Dance Studio is observing the Shardiya Navratri Celebration, a nine-day festival in veneration of Maa Durga.
Today, Noopur Dance Studio is presenting a reel highlighting Devi Shringar. Devi Shringar, or the beautification and adornment of goddesses, is a ritual where sacred items are offered to deities, especially during festivals like Navratri and Diwali, to honor them.

The complete process, known as Solah Shringar, includes offering 16 specific items such as bangles, bindis, sindoor, kajal, kumkum, mirror, and jewelry, along with clothing like a Saree(chunri).

Navratri Day 7 : Orange (Devi Kalratri)

Devi Kalaratri is the seventh form of the goddess Durga and one of the Navadurga, representing the fiercest and most destructive aspect of the divine to banish evil.
She is a destroyer of Darkness and Evil. As her name suggests, "Kaal" means death or time, and "Ratri" means night, Kalaratri is seen as the destroyer of darkness and evil.
This form of the goddess is believed to be the destroyer of all demons and negative energies.Kalaratri is also known as Shubankari (शुभंकरी), meaning auspicious in Sanskrit.

Navratri Day 6 : Grey (Maa Katyayani)

Goddess Katyayani is worshipped on the sixth day of Navratri.

According to religious texts Goddess Parvati was born at the home of sage Katya and due to which this form of Goddess Parvati is known as Katyayani.

To destroy demon Mahishasura, Goddess Parvati took the form of Goddess Katyayani. It was the most violent form of Goddess Parvati. In this form Goddess Parvati is also known as Warrior Goddess.

It is believed that the planet Brihaspati is governed by Goddess Katyayani.
