If you're looking for a bang-for-buck exercise for greater balance, flexibility, and stability then you can't go much further than the single leg deadlift.
Often seen with a straight leg, when the SLDL is done with more of a bent-knee hinge, it recruits more muscles and builds strength in the glutes, hamstrings, and quads, while also building balance and stability in the ankle, core, and shoulder.
Give it a go next time you're in the gym, it's definitely a little harder than it looks!
