Continuing on from my previous publication, we started our Open Consistency Competition today with one comp:
Karen Beveridge def Judy Woodford 116-69
If it had been a normal game the result might have been completely different because Judy was right on the jack several times and moved it out of harm's way, unfortunately in consistency the aim is to not move the jack, especially not more than a metre. There was much hilarity on the green though so I know Judy and Karen enjoyed the game.

Today we held the finals of the Senior Singles. It was a great game but as always there has to be a winner and runner-up:
Mo Pooley def Anne Hamilton 25-13.
Many thanks to Clare for umpiring, we had Clare on her knees nearly every end for close measures.

Quick notice from Marty

This week at Manly sees plenty of action again. The B Singles kick off and note that the Men's 4s Final is scheduled to be played early.

Also the nomination form for Men's B Pairs is on the noticeboard. We would like to see more of our bowlers who are eligible to put their names down.

We still have plenty of spaces left for the Sponsored Open Triples event on 28th June too.
