Was great to see so many of our ladies win prizes in the Birthday raffle, especially Pam England who won the major prize, Aero Bowls.

And special thanks to Bob Mulholland for organising and running the raffle. Much appreciated Bob.

Today the last two games of the round robin Novice Singles were held;
Trish Milne def Kara O'Hagan 25-12
Kim Anderson def Pam Corowa 25-11

Bearing in mind that the majority of the 6 ladies in this competition only started playing this year and had not played singles prior to this competition, the standard of play was excellent.

After 5 rounds, congratulations go to Kim Anderson with an overall total of 10 points. Karen MacLachlan was runner-up with 8 points.

I hope you all enjoyed yourselves ladies and that you'll be keen to put your names for the next competition coming up.

Congratulations to everyone who competed, Kim, Karen, Kara, Jean, Pam and Trish.
