Sunday 7 June was Round 2 of the Auskart Racing SE QLD Endurance series held at the Bundaberg Kart Club following the sprint series the previous day. The Senior Light team of Jensen, Jaxon and Caine got back together as well as the Senior Heavy team of Dan, Jay and our new team member Ben.

After a win in round 1 the Senior Light team were keen to back it up. It was a race of changing fortunes with them having to tackle throttle issues for most of the race to the tide turning when the fast opposition of Oli and Keanu incurred a drive through penalty, this just gave our boys enough space to hang on and carry it over the line for another well deserved win!

The Senior Heavy team sent out new recruit Ben to qualify for this round, well he didn’t disappoint taking a solid pole position for the team! After round 1 being a disappointing P4 they were determined to improve on that and a P1 starting position was a good start. Following a series of ups and downs and being on the wrong side of a Full Course Yellow advantage the team managed to take P2 for the day… With only more laps P1 may have been possible however that’s racing! Congratulations to team Easy Peasies for taking the win this round.

We now take a substantial break and head back on track on 1 August for Round 5 of the Auskart Racing Sprint Series to be hosted by the Warwick Kart Club.

Saturday 6 June we were at Bundaberg Kart Club for Round 4 of the Auskart Racing SE QLD Sprint Series!

Both Jensen and Dan came into the round in the lead of their respective Senior Light and Senior Heavy championships with the intent of extending those leads!

Jensen in his Senior Light class appeared to be a little late to grid for qually and no sooner found himself stuck in the pack. As a consequence he had to abort some hot laps. He finally found some space only to have the session ended just cm from crossing the line and having what would have been his best lap not counted. Despite this he still managed P2 on grid for race one.

Race 1 was hard fought between himself and pole sitter Harrison with positional changes only to cross the line back in P2 at the end just 0.08sec behind the winner.

Race 2 and he seemed to get a good start from P2 moving ahead of the pack on the outside only to end up off the circuit dropping to P8. He made somewhat of a recovery fighting his way back to P5 in the tightly contested field.

Race 3 and on his warm up lap he found the oil slick from an earlier race sending him into a spin and consequently having to now start the race in P8. Luckily he had 20 laps to try to recover and he found progress was challenging with some racers just determined to keep him behind. Eventually he broke loose making his way to P3 however while he was closing the gap to the leaders it was all too late after they had already broken away somewhat by then.

While this event had the most ex*****on challenges since he moved to Senior he was happy to still pick up P2 on the day and increase his championship lead!

Dan had a great day landing pole position in qually followed by all 3 heat wins! While the setup wasn’t perfect we were satisfied with the ex*****on for Dan to get P1 and another clean sweep this season!

The team would like to welcome their newest endurance racing team member Ben Meaty Pies Carnegie. Ben has some years of experience behind the wheel of karts and cars however he only recently joined Auskart Racing in 2025.
He has made quite an impression with a number of podiums and is currently running in the top three of the Auskart Senior Heavy Sprint Championship.
Ben will now join Dan and Jay in the Auskart Senior Heavy Endurance Championship. We are looking forward to driving with Ben for the remainder of the 2026 Endurance season!

Saturday 9 May was Round 3 of the Auskart Racing Sprint Series at the Cooloola Coast Kart Club and the team were there to keep their momentum going in 2026!

Jensen returned in Senior Light class and once again had a great run securing pole position and 3 heats wins. In the final heat he had a collision on the last lap, he redressed and missed a clean sweep settling for P2 just 0.062 seconds behind the winner! With that he took another win for the event!!

Dan in the Senior Heavy class had a less than ideal qualifying securing P4. This however was good enough to set him up for wins in heats 1 & 2. Heat 3 and running P2, he encountered an unfortunate yellow light section for the entire race in his stronger section of the track, this prevented a certain passing opportunity and needing to settle for P2. Running off P2 for the final down the outside didn’t quite work out when he copped a solid bump in the first corner melee sending him off track and losing multiple positions. He did however recover positions to finish P4. Despite the chaos encountered in the final heat, he also managed to secure P1 for the meeting!

Another P1 for Jensen and P1 for Dan, lets keep the momentum going!!!

A great performance by our Senior Light endurance team today at Round 1 of the Auskart Racing Endurance Championship coming away with a dominant win! At the conclusion of their race they not only won their class but lead outright including passing the entire twin engine class of competitors!
An absolutely stunning performance by all three boys Jensen, Caine and Jaxon to take the win!
Unfortunately, our Senior Heavy team of Dan and Jay encountered tyre issues and lost laps in pit lane attempting on the go setup changes with no success to bring it home in P4.
For now we will celebrate an awesome win for the boys and look forward to the next endurance round at Bundaberg Kart Club on 7 June.

The team was at Cooloola Coast Kart Club today for round 3 of the club championship.

Jensen has once again taken out the win in somewhat unpredictable weather requiring adaptation to the conditions. This coupled with becoming the unfortunate victim of 2 incidents costing him positions in such a tough field of drivers and not feeling we had his kart setup optimal, it was a satisfying win indeed!

This now marks 6 wins in a row and a 100% event win rate in his Senior racing on Australian soil! We think that is one solid achievement in fields of such credentialed drivers and something the team is proud of!

We now look forward to Round 3 of the Auskart Racing Sprint Championship followed the next day by round 1 of the Auskart Racing Endurance Championship where Jensen will reunite with his co-drivers Caine and Jaxon in under a fortnight.

Today was Round 2 of the 2026 Auskart Racing Championship and the final time the series competes at their foundation home circuit, Lakeside Raceway.

The team continued its momentum from Round 1 with Jensen coming away with another P1 overall in Senior Light class and Dan coming home with another 4 race clean sweep to also pick up P1 on the day in the Senior Heavy class!

Jensen was also happy to have his good mate Caine from Caine Caldwell Racing back with him in Auskart sprint racing!

After a fast paced few weeks we now take a break before we return to one of our favourite tracks at the Cooloola Coast Kart Club. Lets keep this momentum going!
