ld as I moved around for school, I had to continually adapt to new environments. This was emotionally challenging however, I intuitively used my FAITH and positive affirmations, dancing, creativity and connected imagery to stay mentally at peace and joyful. Believing from early on that the sun is a constant source of energy and guidance, it was also free and always available,
However, I did not follow my passion because it was not a ‘socially’ acceptable field. So I studied social work, Cobol programming (from people to computers go figure???). You can imagine the dialogue in my heart and head keeping my mindset in constant battle zone mode. At this point I guide you to place your hand on your heart to connect, so you gain whatever it is that serves you from my story. Moving from South Africa to Australia with a 4 month old baby, during the1991 recession meant it was difficult to get employment, so I made samosas and chapatis and sold that. I also used my skills as a seamstress and did alterations, went door to door and did the Nutrimetics drive. Few years later and another 2 babies plus 9 house moves (overseas, interstate, intercity) eventually we decided to make Brisbane home. Moving so many times gave me first hand experience on the impact the environment has on ones emotional and mental wellbeing. By this stage the kids were all in primary school and life was less challenging. I than worked as a practice manager in a neurologist’s office for 4 years managing a team of women and developing acute skills in helping people to work cooperatively in close environments. I was gifted the opportunity of managing the expansion of the practice, working with design and tradesmen, I applied the principles of FengShui and colours in corporate arenas to maintain flow in the business during construction. While working as a practice manager an occasion presented for deep personal growth and inner healing, allowing me to create space in my being to see and feel life differently. At this point I knew my calling. I began to value my intuitive skills. However I once again chose a line of profession that wasn’t aligned to my calling for fear of judgement and the unknown. So what did I do? I bought, built and grew a Body Corporate Management business (talk about self-sabotage). Playing the victim and succumbing to external pressures yet again. That’s what we as woman do, isn’t it? Being a dedicated wife and mother having raised three spirited children, I used the tools of Feng Shui, numerology and colour to guide, support, inspire and heal my children from birth through to the trying teenage times. I’m pleased to share I don’t know what a two year tantrum or a teenage tantrum is. All through my life I have implemented these tools in our personal lives during times of challenges, frustrations, overwhelm, burnout and brought back peace, harmony, love, health, prosperity into our lives. I’m constantly using positive affirmations, changing colours, images and placement of furniture, working with daily habit trackers, physical exercise to integrate the message to the mind, to receive and allow the change to occur, depending on what the challenge is that needs to be addressed. Eventually!!! I completed my studies in Numerology, Colour Therapy and Feng Shui with Chris Brazel (Australia’s Leading Numbers & Feng Shui Expert), Yeah!! what a moment of joy. I am ever grateful to my family for supporting me, encouraging me, trusting in me and believing in me and my woohoo ways. I still had a voice in my head saying ‘what are people going to say’. But my values on health, wealth creation, strong community, homes and the ultimate fulfilment of all made me dig deep to allow my inspiring, intuitive nature to come out so I could guide and support people to live their most rewarding life possible. During those 20plus years of playing the martyr my source of strength and courage were and continue to be, The Sun, The Bhagavad Gita, Autobiography of a Yogi – Paramahansa Yogananda, You Can Heal Your Life – Louise Hay, The Path of Practice A Women’s Book of Ayurvedic Healing – Bri Maya Tiwari, and my ever deep Faith and Trust in a Higher Power. I am so glad I let that voice go. Since than the number of people’s lives my work has impacted and changed is heart-warming and inspiring. The ripple effect it has had from one person being on a journey with me is mind-blowing. I was denying the world of my gifts as well as the unique juxtaposition of the Eastern principles of flow and spirituality and the Western world of business, innovation, and materialism. My passion is seeing people living their lives with effortless ease and grace and believe in themselves. The one thing we cannot change is the day we are born on. It is the road map to so many things in our lives. We are surrounded by our environment every day and what we see influences our mindset our emotions and ultimately what we attract into our reality and our life. The joy I experience when I see the experiences my clients are having and the results, they are achieving is indescribable. The reason I am sharing my story with you, is so that you don’t waste another minute in pursuing your heart’s desire. If there is something that you have been really wanting to do that has always been a part of your being, go for it, do it, I have your back, you can do this. Have FAITH and come from LOVE it has been my strongest anchor. Work with INTEGRITY and the rest will take care of itself. It is TIME to get out of your head and into your HEART. You Got This.
