CLIENT SPOTLIGHTπ
I first started working with Skip at the end of last year. He had been working out for almost a year and was getting frustrated since he hadn't been able to lose any weight.
This morning, Skip reached his first milestone π―
β’ Bodyweight β¬οΈ -13.1kg
β’ Body Fat β¬οΈ -10.1%
β’ Waist β¬οΈ -7cm
Skip has an incredible work ethic and always brings his absolute best to a session. In fact, convincing him to take a day off at this point would be a greater achievement than losing the initial weightπ€¦ββοΈπ
But this passion, along with all of his hard work, has helped him become stronger, more confident, and achieve the results he has always desired.
Congratulations, Skip on your results! π
Thank you for your time, your trust, and, most importantly, your friendshipπ
I'm truly excited to see what the future holds for you ππͺπ₯

Be patient...
There are no quick fixes to achieve your body composition goals. Whether your goal is to lose body fat or build muscle mass, results don't happen overnight.
Things take timeβ³Expecting results too quickly is a sure-fire way to lose motivation and fall back into bad habits when these unrealistic expectations aren't met.
Here are π± ways to become more patient and learn to enjoy your health and fitness journey.

It's important to remember that progress is rarely linear, we all go through setbacks as a normal part of life. It is easier and more practical to set long-term goals. Give yourself a year to build the habits that make you progressively better.
It's not "sexy" but the culmination of the habits you build up over this time will become your new normal.
2οΈβ£ ππ π₯πππππ¦π§ππ π
Setting goals and achieving them not only gets things done, but can help build self-esteem, happiness, and a sense of well-being. This is more likely to happen if your goals are realistic.
Brainstorm your goals, do research. Be specific, make them S.M.A.R.T and...
Write βοΈ them down.
3οΈβ£ ππππππ₯ππ§π π©πππ§π’π₯πππ¦π
It is beneficial to acknowledge your progress during your journey, this will help you feel empowered. Reward yourself with a π and celebrate your wins with others. When you share your achievements with people who care about you, they will feel happy for you and encourage you to go further.
4οΈβ£ π’π©ππ₯ππ’π ππ‘π π¦ππ§πππππ¦ πͺ
We've all been there. Setbacks are a part of being human. Instead of focusing on how far you have to go, focus on what you can do today. Aim to make simple, sustainable and consistent tweaks to your lifestyle. Take your setbacks as an opportunity to reassess and grow.
5οΈβ£ ππ₯π’πͺπ§π π ππ‘ππ¦ππ§ π
Personal growth requires considering new perspectives, ideas, habits, and beliefs. Embrace learning, step outside your comfort zone, be willing to fail, value improvement over perfection and set your ego aside.
Remember, success is all about making progress. As long as you're moving forward and making progress, you are one step closer to your dreams.....

Nobody is judging you...
The gym can be an intimidating place. In fact, gym anxiety is so real that many beginners put off their plans to get in better shape. Some never come back after the first day.
If youβre facing gym anxiety, youβre not alone. Understanding what factors are at play, can help you overcome gym anxiety.
π¦π§π’π£ ππ¦π¦π¨π ππ‘π π¬π’π¨'π₯π ππππ‘π ππ¨ππππ π
It may be difficult to believe, but every single person at the gym is as self-conscious about their bodies as you are. The good news is that when you ask people who regularly go to the gym, the response is fairly universal.
βTheyβre not judging you.
βTheyβre not looking at you.
βοΈThey're focused on their own workout.
Everybody around you is there to work out, not judge others. Trust me when I say that the ONLY thing they notice, if they notice anything at all, is the WORK you put in.
The one thing that the fitness community universally β€οΈ is EFFORT.
New people come to the gym all the time and make mistakes. Those around you were beginners at some point of time and committed their fair share of blunders too (they probably still are).

A lot of people want to start going to the gym to get in better shape. Yet, they hesitate because they think they're not fit enough to attend. But just like its unhealthy to assume that others are judging you, its counter-productive to judge yourself.
What's the point of denying yourself the benefits of regular exercise? You are losing precious time - time better spent living a happier, healthier and more productive life.
Thatβs why its better to just show up and get on with the drill. Day in and day out. The more time you spend at the gym, the more confident you will feel in your new surroundings.
π¨π¦π π§ππ ππ¨πππ¬ π¦π¬π¦π§ππ π«
There is a tried and tested remedy for gym anxiety. Workout with a friend. Having a friend by your side can be extremely comforting in a new situation. Itβs even better if that friend already attends the gym that youβre joining! Theyβll already know their way around and can show you how to use the machines and how to navigate gym etiquette.

BELIEF COMES FIRST...
Before we can make our dreams a reality, we must first picture ourselves living them out.
It is the first step in creating anything we want in life. I would argue it's probably the most important step. Our π§ cannot tell the difference between what is real and what we are imagining.
Strong positive beliefs can be very powerful, beneficial, when properly controlled. However, belief is a double-edged sword. It can also be the reason we start doubting ourselves. We are great at sabotaging anything that is out of alignment with our beliefs.
We need to understand that, while the human mind is the most powerful toll we own, it can also be the most destructive. We need to learn how to take control of the direction of our mind and our emotions.
The solution to the double-edged sword of belief is to replace those limiting, negative, or simply false beliefs, with more positive ones. It sounds easy but the reality is not. We have to develop the proper skillsets - visualisation, affirmations, positive reinforcement, thought stoppage. It takes time and lots of practice.
You have to BELIEVE that you can work your way to it, that putting in the time and effort, that persevering and pushing through hardship is going to be rewarded - with SUCCESS.
But FIRST you have to BELIEVE.
