University of Queensland Cycle Club

The annual and races taking place on July 18th, 2026 as part of the Queensland Road Race Series are currently seeking sponsorship!

hosts this race every year and it costs the club more than we make. With the help of sponsors the club can continue putting on high quality racing in memory of two club members and supporting our wonderful community!

Some exciting events coming up and we’re kicking off with something a little different at our Thursday night track sessions with the trial of a 150 lap moto paced session with sprints every 10 laps starting APRIL 16th 7-9pm.

More Racing in 2026 - Starting THIS SATURDAY!

We’ve got way more racing for you this year. The following calendar shows that you can get in the habit of rocking up almost every weekend to a UNICC event.

Starting this Saturday 11 April, we’ll launch the Race Safe Training Series to complement our previously scheduled races.

- A and C grades roll off at 6.45am; B and D grade fitness roll off at 7.45am
- It’s a race-intensity and length hitout.
- It’s free, no sign-on, no race numbers - just like UNICC has done for most of our club’s history.
- Other clubs welcome - just need to have an Auscycling race licence

What do you need to do?
- Just show up before your session time - these are always at Nundah (Albert Bishop Park bicycle track)
- Tell your racing mates - whether they’re from UNICC or other clubs
