Early starts, busy lives and with goals of increasing your protein? Here is my go-to breakfast chia pudding. This one is packed with fibre (yes🙌) and protein, dairy and gluten free and takes about 5mins to prepare for the whole week ahead!! Vary ingredients as you see fit but the basics are per portion: 2TBSP chia seeds, 1 TBSP flax seeds (linseeds), 150g Yoghurt - Greek or I use high protein soy, 1 scoop of your favourite protein powder -I use Kailo Feel Well plus an additional unflavoured PP, pinch of high quality sea salt. Combine all ingredients into a glass container (or cute tea cup) , cover and refrigerate for two hours. Stir after two hours and add a little milk to loosen. And that’s it! Top with your choice of berries, fruits, nuts or seeds. A tasty, healthy, colourful start to your day and a wonderful act of self-care ❤️

Sometimes, this is how I spend my Sunday. Do I owe myself a workout if I eat pizza? No way!! If I owe myself anything, it’s the opportunity to take my time to enjoy the artistry of the meal, the combination@of flavours, the warmth of the wine in my stomach, the gratitude for the life I have built, the luxury of no demands on my time, the adventure of new experiences, the curiosity of new connections and the pure bliss of a brilliant gluten free pizza!! What is life if we don’t find the joy in the moments? What is your favourite Sunday (or any day) way to chill?

On the strong days, on the sad days, on the holidays, on the off days, on the mediocre days and especially in the days you need it the most - show up for yourself and train. Movement is the best medicine. You don’t have to hit PBs or work yourself to exhaustion. Just get your body moving and show yourself some love.

From the dance floor to the gym. Why did I train today, Easter Monday? For so many reasons … but mostly because I felt like it. But also as a love letter to my future self; as a promise to my children; to maintain my mobility; to manage my injuries; because I’d had such a great weekend and training is something I enjoy and many more reasons that had nothing to do with what I ate or drank, or what I did or did not do, how many steps or any deficit based reason. Fun, good food, the company of people you value and love and spending time doing things that lift you up are as important as time spent in the gym. To those of us receiving unexpected and challenging news this week, take care of your hearts, minds and bodies. And keep dancing

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posts on socials. Life, y’know? But the secret sauce is always consistency and rest assured, I’ve been investing in growth recently - muscles, skills, mental and emotional wellbeing for you and me.
