Firstly, thank you to everyone who has put their hand up to help—it means a lot! 💙

If you’re volunteering this Sunday, we’d really appreciate it if you could arrive by 7:30 AM for a quick pre-event briefing.

We’ll run through:
✅ Your station and role
✅ Judging standards
✅ Event flow
✅ Any last-minute questions

The briefing will only take around 15–20 minutes, but it’ll help us make sure everyone is confident before the first athletes begin.

🇦🇺 WE MADE IT TO BULGARIA! 🇧🇬

After months of hard work, training, preparation, and support from an incredible team, Andre and the Australian team have officially arrived in Bulgaria for the Down Syndrome World Championships.

One of the highlights of the trip was being able to surprise Andre and share this experience with him in person. Seeing the excitement on his face made every challenge along the way worth it.

A huge thank you to Brett, Andre’s throwing coach, whose dedication, knowledge, and belief in Andre have helped him reach this level. The work done behind the scenes often goes unnoticed, but it has played a massive role in getting us here.

Thank you also to Andre’s family for their unwavering support and to the entire Australian team, coaches, officials, families, and supporters who have worked tirelessly to make this journey possible.

Now the focus shifts to competition.

Andre has trained hard, sacrificed plenty, and earned his place among the world’s best athletes. We are proud to represent Australia and will give everything we have when it’s time to step into the throwing circle.
