Hello Team Evermore

It has been a tough winter season for us all with a few rounds of sickness. I am glad that you have all listened to your bodies and taken time out to rest and recover…..myself included!!

I certainly have missed seeing everyone each week. I am looking forward to seeing you all back in action once you have all recovered.

Whilst some of you may have felt that not being able to train to be an inconvenience, it is much better to give your body a chance to recover and then slowly get back into some exercise. Take your time to get back into your usual exercise routine or weights to avoid overexertion.

In general, now that we are all recovering and starting to feel up to some movement, it’s time to get back into some exercise to assist with increasing the heart rate, stimulating circulation and rebooting & empowering our immune systems. Consider some of the following:
· Brisk walking,
· Bike rides
· Stretching and mobility
· Stability exercises
· Light weight training that we can do together
during a PT session so you can make sure to
not push your body too hard too soon.

So, after a challenging time for most of us we are all starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and happy to see the end of this winter’s flu season.

The challenge now……
· Setting your gym alarm and sticking to it!
· Working through the barriers to returning to
the gym and your normal training routine
· Re-assessing re-defining your health and
fitness goals, whether it be for the end of the
year, for summer or for an event coming up
· for the remainder of the year
· Dialling your nutrition back so that it
supports your recovery and goals

Where to from here…….
· It’s important to be guided on how to rebuild
your strength back up slowly and safely by
gradually reintroducing movement and
intensity
· Consult a professional (me!) to review and
refine your training schedule and programme
so that it meets your needs and new goals
· Book in your PT sessions or talk to me about
programming.

How can I assist in motivating you?
For the remainder of 2024, at the end of each month I will be choosing an Evermore team member of the month.
This person will win a 30-minute complementary personal training session to take them into the upcoming month to assist with achieving their goals.
To win this incentive….
· Each team member will need to book and
attend at least 5 personal training sessions
within the month.
· Have programming created to your personal
needs and see progression on their
programmes.
· Achieve small wins towards your goals and
share them on my socials

I can’t wait to get this started with everyone, so get amongst it and let’s see what we can achieve together!
