🌈🏀 WELCOME TO CAIRNS SPECTRES PRIDE BASKETBALL 🏀🌈

We’re incredibly proud to officially welcome you to the Cairns Spectres Pride Basketball community.

This new community space represents more than basketball, it’s about belonging, visibility, connection, and pride. Cairns Spectres exists to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space where LGBTQIA+ people and allies of all ages and abilities can come together, play, and be themselves.

We’re especially excited that our very first community event is being delivered as a joint initiative between Spectres Australia - Pride Basketball Association and Team Rainbow Qld, bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to inclusive sport, community connection, and pride.

As part of this collaboration, we invite the Cairns community to our "Play with Pride" launch weekend in February 2026:

Delivered in partnership by Spectres Australia Pride Basketball and Team Rainbow, join us for a relaxed lunch and presentation at The Woolshed from 12pm, where we’ll share our vision for Pride Basketball in Far North Queensland and celebrate the formation of the Cairns Spectres team.
