Congratulations to Redlands Cycling and Multisport Club and Redlands Bayside Masters Swimming Club athlete David Murtagh, who recently competed in the Sunshine Coast Ironman 70.3 and finished first in his age group.

🏊‍♀️💖 Join the MSQ Swim for a Cure Team this November 💖🏊‍♂️

In 2025, 19 MSQ members raised an incredible $9,730 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, almost double the original fundraising target of $5,000.

This year, we'd love to see at least one swimmer from every MSQ club join the team and help support life-saving breast cancer research.

The campaign encourages participants to set a personal swimming goal throughout November and raise funds to help achieve NBCF's vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

We had a very successful night selling raffle tickets at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club.
Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket, we greatly appreciate the support. And thank you Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club for donating the vouchers.

Come on down to the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club on Friday 28 August, from 5pm for dinner and purchase some tickets in the meat raffle.

They have kindly donated 8 x $40 meat trays for us to raffle to assist with our fundraising efforts.

Tickets will be sold from 5pm and will be drawn at 7:30pm.

We’re incredibly grateful to be a recipient of Redland City Council Mayor and Councillor's Community Benefit, which enabled us to purchase a first aid kit.

We’ll have this kit with us at all our open water training sessions, helping us keep our members safe while they build confidence and skills in the bay.

We’re grateful for the ongoing support from the council and Cr Peter Mitchell, as we proudly continue growing safe, enjoyable swimming opportunities for adults across the Redlands.

Better late than never…Bob and Damon have received their record certificates from the MSA National Championships.
🏆Bob:QLD record for 25m breaststroke and 100m freestyle.
🏆Damon: QLD record for 400m freestyle and multi class records for 25m butterfly and 50m butterfly.
Congratulations Bob and Damon!!!
