The frames became an instant success and soon Steve was approached by the Answer Racing Team to start building frames for riders such as Bubba Harris and Mike Day. Soon everyone on the Answer team was on a Staats frame and the rest, as they say, is history. STAATS BICYCLES was born! Our frames currently use several exotic steel alloys such as true-temper, dedacciai and other double and triple butted tubing. Each chromoly frame is hand built, belt-mitered and tig-welded. Also available for the younger riders, we are proud to introduce our line of aluminum frames in double heat-treated 7005 tubing. These frames come in Junior, Expert, Expert XL, Mini Cruiser, Junior Cruiser and Expert Cruiser. The testing of these frames has gone exceptionally well, already racking up numerous National wins! As STAATS BICYCLES continues to grow, we remain committed to the development of the strongest, lightest and best BMX frame possible.
