Well, look who made the TODAY Show this morning! 📺☀️

Everton Park Bowls & Community Club got a little national TV love today, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far The Park has come.

It’s been a massive year for our club, but the best part is seeing it full of people again. Bowls, live music, community events, a cold drink, new faces and plenty of familiar ones.

A huge thank you to our members, volunteers, staff, supporters and the wider Everton Park community who keep turning up and making this place what it is.

Have a watch 👇

We reckon The Park scrubs up alright on the telly!

📰 WELL, THIS IS A PRETTY SPECIAL ONE.

Everton Park Bowls & Community Club has made The Courier-Mail.

At a time when bowls clubs across Queensland have been facing some very real challenges, The Park has been doing something a little different.

In just 12 months, our membership has grown from around 330 to nearly 1,300.

But the number we’re probably proudest of is this one: more than 4,000 volunteer hours.

Because none of this happens because of one person, one committee or one idea. It happens because generations of members built this club, volunteers continue to give their time, our staff keep the place rolling, and our local community keeps turning up and backing us.

We’ve tried new things. We’ve embraced social media. We’ve brought in more live entertainment, community events and new reasons for people to walk through the doors. But through all of that, we’ve worked bloody hard to keep The Park feeling like The Park.

Sixty years after Everton Park Bowls Club began, we reckon that’s something worth celebrating.

A 60-year-old bowls club has managed to triple its membership in 12 months as others collapsed, bucking the trend by refusing to accept decline as inevitable.

What a day! What a community! 💚

Our 60th Anniversary Community Day was an absolutely HUGE success, with over 1,000 people joining us throughout the day to celebrate 60 wonderful years of Everton Park Bowls & Community Club!

From the bowls and live entertainment to the market stalls, classic cars, family activities and everything in between, it was incredible to see so many people come together at The Park.

A massive THANK YOU to our wonderful local community, stallholders, entertainers, sponsors, volunteers, members and everyone who helped make the day possible. We couldn't have done it without you!

A special shout-out to Queensland Police, Queensland Fire and Rescue, the Riley Car Club and ###X B**r for coming along, getting involved and supporting our celebrations. Your contribution helped make the day something truly special.

And to everyone who came through the gates, brought the family, supported a stallholder, bought a raffle ticket, had a roll on the green or simply enjoyed a day out with us, THANK YOU! You are what makes this club so special.

We've been rolling strong for 60 years, and judging by Sunday's incredible turnout, we're showing no signs of slowing down!

And who knows? We might just have to bring Community Day back by popular demand! 😉

From all of us at Everton Park Bowls & Community Club, thank you for making our 60th anniversary one to remember.

Rolling Strong Together @ The Park. 💚
