Thank you everyone for a fantastic week away in Adelaide. It was brilliant to see our kids playing great baseball together. It was awesome to hang out with such wonderful parents and supporters. It is also great to be home. Thank you one and all for making this a memorable trip.

Big day ahead, double header!

We were able to get on the field and the scoreboard with our first game. Great game Metro. Metro 10 - Adelaide Seahawks 4.
The fans were keen. Warwick thought he would try and get the best seat in the house by climbing the fence. Good call as he could take full advantage of watching Pawsey's double celebration. All round a really solid performance. Great pitching, good hitting in just about every innings, and some great fielding as well.
Well done players, coaches and supporters. Bring on day 2.

It wasn't a great amount of rain, but it was enough to postpone play a couple of times, before they called it off for the day. It looked like it was going to fine up, but the steady drizzle returned again in the afternoon.
It looks as though the plan is to simply to shuffle all the games back one day and play Monday's games on Tuesday. Leaving for a very full last day of finals.
At this stage, we play at 9am local time tomorrow against Adelaide Seahawks. If nothing else changes the kids will get the opportunity to hang with their parents in the afternoon.
Fingers crossed we get to play some baseball.
