Ticket sales for the Wilston Grange AFC QAFL Barry Clarke Medal and QAFLW Best and Fairest Presentation Night end 5pm Wednesday, so get yours now!

The Presentation Night is a celebration of achievements during the year both on and off the field.

It promises to be a great night, this year's venue is the Rose Room at Cloudland in the Valley.

The Committee encourages all members of the Gorilla's community to come along and be part of this special night.

AFL Grand Final Day at Wilston Grange AFC!
This will be a cracking day where we will have all the action on the big screens as well as fun and games with sweeps and comps for first goal kicker, Norm Smith, winning margin etc.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE GORILLAS

A massive thank you to every volunteer who has given their time, energy and effort to the Gorillas throughout 2026.

From the bar and BBQ to ground preparation, game-day roles and everything that happens behind the scenes, our club simply couldn’t operate without you.

A special thank you to everyone who stepped up last Saturday as Hickey Park hosted four Grand Finals. It was a huge day for the club and took an incredible effort from so many people to make it happen.

To everyone who has put their hand up throughout the year — thank you for everything you do for the Gorillas.

🏆 COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD — Paul Neisler
Recognising outstanding volunteer service and contribution to our club community.
Paul gives far more than is ever expected and asks for absolutely nothing in return. A selfless, kind and dependable volunteer, much of what he does happens quietly behind the scenes — but his impact is felt across our entire club.

🏆 HAROLD PASCOE MEMORIAL TROPHY - CLUB PERSON OF THE YEAR — Rebecca Keating
Bec is one of those people every club hopes to have — quietly getting things done, always willing to help and invariably picking up the jobs no one else puts their hand up for.
Her kindness, reliability and genuine care for our kids and families is felt right across the club.
A very deserving Club Person of the Year.

🏆 PETER VASS MEMORIAL TROPHY - CLUB FAMILY OF THE YEAR — Vaughan Family
For almost 19 years, the Vaughan family have been part of the fabric of Wilston Grange — and volunteering really is a family affair. They give their time across different areas of our club, simply because they care about the people in it and want to make it better.
Generous with their time, always willing to lend a hand and genuinely invested in our community — a very deserving Club Family of the Year. ❤️💙

As our players move through Youth football, coaches and managers take on an increasingly important role — balancing development, competition and enjoyment while creating an environment where every player can continue to grow and belong.

The Youth Coach of the Year recognises a coach who demonstrates outstanding leadership, player development and commitment to their team, while fostering the standards, culture and connection we want our young players to experience at Wilston Grange.

🏆 YOUTH MANAGER OF THE YEAR — Rhiannon Shillington
The Youth Manager of the Year recognises a manager whose organisation, communication and commitment provides exceptional support to their players, coaches and families throughout the season.

Our Junior teams are where so many young Gorillas begin their football journey, and the experience they have in these early years is shaped enormously by the people who volunteer to lead and support them.

🏆 JUNIOR COACH OF THE YEAR — Andrew Rataj
The Junior Coach of the Year recognises a coach who has created a positive, inclusive and enjoyable environment for their players, while helping them develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.

🏆 JUNIOR MANAGER OF THE YEAR — Chloe Halter
Great team managers are the people who somehow keep everything — and everyone — moving in the right direction. The Junior Manager of the Year recognises outstanding organisation, communication and support of players, coaches and families throughout the season.
