🎨🌈 Can You Help Bring Our Colour Run to Life? 🌈🎨

We’re looking for a few enthusiastic parents and carers to help coordinate our School Colour Run in October.

Some of the tasks in the lead-up include:
🎉 Putting up posters and signs around the school
📄 Organising leaflets to go home with students
📣 Helping spread the word and build excitement
🟢 Brainstorming some fun fundraising ideas (we’ve even got slime to use!)

After the event, we’ll also need a hand sorting and distributing prizes to our students.

⭐️Please note: We’ll be putting out a separate call closer to the event for volunteers to help on Colour Run day itself.

🍎 Volunteers Needed – Einbunpin Festival Toffee Apple Stall! 🍎

Our famous toffee apples are back, and we need your help to make the day a success!

We’re looking for volunteers to help at the Sandgate State School P&C Toffee Apple Stall at the Einbunpin Festival this Sunday. Even if you can spare just one hour, it will make a huge difference.

✨ No experience needed – we’ll show you everything you need to know.
✨ It’s a great way to support our school, meet other families, and be part of one of Sandgate’s biggest community events.

We’re looking for donations of caster sugar to help us make delicious toffee apples for the P&C stall at the Einbunpin Festival this Sunday.

If you’re able to help, please drop a bag of caster sugar into the school office by this Friday.

Whether you’re a long-time volunteer, a new family, or you’ve never been to a P&C meeting before, everyone is welcome.

🧢 Children should bring their named school hat.
🛍️ Please also send a named reusable bag to carry home their crafts.
🎨 All activities are free for students.
👶 Younger siblings are welcome but must remain under the supervision of their parent or carer.
🚫 Please note that the school playgrounds will not be open during the celebration.

🌭 Free Sausage Sizzle
A huge thank you to YMCA, who will be providing a FREE sausage sizzle for all Prep–Year 2 students, younger siblings and adult visitors.

If you do not want your child to receive a sausage sizzle, please let their classroom teacher know before the day.

We can’t wait to celebrate with our school community! 💙

📢 Student Council Fundraiser for Chappy Week

Please note that this is not a P&C fundraiser. It is a Student Council fundraiser, and we are sharing it to help our students reach their fundraising goal.

To celebrate Chappy Week, our Student Council is raising funds for new Chappy resources and supplies that will support students throughout the year.

They have less than two weeks to raise $1,500. If they reach their target, there will be a very exciting reward…

💚 Mrs Blake has agreed to be slimed! 💚

Every donation, big or small, will help the Student Council achieve their goal and support the wonderful work Chappy Troy does at Sandgate State School.

Donations can be made via the fundraising bucket in the school office or through Flexischools until 23 June.
