Awesome Pawsome Flyball Racing

Paws of Fire snuck into 1st place in Div 1 with a best time of 19.484. Concluding Saturday only winning 3/8 races, then clawing back on Sunday winning 7/8. This team certainly found their stride and gelled well on day 2. Special mention to Xena, she is fairly new to racing and has moved seamlessly into the pack from being start dog and raced perfectly. Congratulations to River on her Flyball Master title and Izzy for her title, Flyball Master Excellent! Legends! 🔥🔥🔥

Paws of Lightning were top of the leader board on Saturday with 6/8 races but ended up in 2nd spot after a few dropped races on Sunday afternoon. 4 dogs in this team did most of the races and definitely earned every point! This team achieved our new club PB of 16.885! Well done ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Paws of Thunder hit a break out time of 22.909 in the second race on day 1 meaning we focused on running clean for the rest of the weekend. All the dogs put on 100% every race and we couldn’t be prouder 🌩️🌩️🌩️! Special mention to Laura and Indi on improving your starts and to Harper for not dropping her box turn all weekend!

Paws of Mischief, they may have only won 1 race the whole weekend but watching them, you wouldn’t know it! Yes there were errors but they picked themselves up and kept trucking! There were lots of little wins over the two days and we are very proud of their efforts 😈😈😈. Special mention to Cadbury, aka spicy dog, who kept her head and did some beautiful clean runs, to Judge for being reliable as ever and to Marlee for doing the most races he’s ever done in a comp and loving it! Congratulations to Russell for his Australian Flyball Champion Title! Our dogs in training had some wonderful progress while training on the Friday. Can’t wait to see these guys racing!! 💙💚💙💚
