Awesome Pawsome Flyball Racing

06/10/2026

Thank you to Supersonics Flyball Racing for hosting the Wounded Heroes cup on the weekend, you should be very proud of your fundraising efforts! Thank you to all the volunteers and officials involved , it was a great weekend of racing.

Paws of Lightning 1st place Div 1 best time and a club PB of 16.758! Struggled on Saturday but brought it home Sunday winning 5/6 races. Congratulations to Belinda & Storm who are now FM and to Nealle & Bandit who are now FMCh!

Paws of Fire 2nd place Div 2 best time 20.22. Started off strong Saturday winning 4/6 but a few errors on Sunday cost us in the end. Congratulations to Crystal & Xena on your AFCh title! It was an absolute pleasure to retire Nala racing in this team and gaining her new title FDGCh!

Paws of Thunder 2nd place Div 3 best time 22.028. Again started off amazing on Saturday winning 5/6 but an extra loss on Sunday had the gold slip away.

Paws of Mischief 3rd place Open best time 23.289. Thank you to Evie and Gage for joining us! We had a tough start to Saturday with 2/8 wins but came out swinging on Sunday winning 4/8. Proud of how far these dogs have come. Congrats to Troy & Cadbury with your 000 start and your FDCh title!

On Saturday we competed at the Redlands Rays field hosted by Bayside Flyball Racing Inc thank you to everyone involved in organising this event and all the wonderful officials it was a great day! Even the rain couldn’t ruin it!

Div 1 Paws of Lightning best time 17.624. Elsie did a great job moving into this team, other than trying to make a jump explode 🤣, she fitted in nicely and we are looking forward to what this team can achieve with some more passing practice!

Div 1 Paws of Fire best time 20.962. Height dogs Wh**ky and Izzy powered through the day but unfortunately we lacked some speed. Huge congratulations to Jenni and Kitana for the massive milestone of Flyball Dog Grand Champion, it takes a special partnership and good consistent teammates to rack up 2000 points. Well done!

Div 2 Paws of Thunder best time 22.811. This team started off racing really clean but by the end of the day things got tough! Congratulations to Kate and Harvey on your first 000 start!

Open Div Paws of Mischief best time 23.197. Congratulations to Dennis for having a clean sheet and to Mishka who was very very close to it! Congratulations to Jude and Marlee on gaining your Flyball Dog Champion title. Marlee may have his quirks but he always tries his best! Dog of the day has to go to the infamous spicy dog Cadbury! Troy and Cabs have put in the hard yards and have improved light years, not inches! She only dropped one ball in 5 races (one was 4 sec handicap!), she got a PB, her next title and a new nickname. Come watch/listen to her next comp and see if you can guess what it is! 🤣 💙💚💙💚

Wow what a weekend! Huge shoutout to all our Awesome Pawsome club members who made this event happen. Thank you so much. To our wonderful officials, you are legends! 💙💚 To all our sponsors, thank you for your contributions to making our event even more special.

Paws of Fire snuck into 1st place in Div 1 with a best time of 19.484. Concluding Saturday only winning 3/8 races, then clawing back on Sunday winning 7/8. This team certainly found their stride and gelled well on day 2. Special mention to Xena, she is fairly new to racing and has moved seamlessly into the pack from being start dog and raced perfectly. Congratulations to River on her Flyball Master title and Izzy for her title, Flyball Master Excellent! Legends! 🔥🔥🔥

Paws of Lightning were top of the leader board on Saturday with 6/8 races but ended up in 2nd spot after a few dropped races on Sunday afternoon. 4 dogs in this team did most of the races and definitely earned every point! This team achieved our new club PB of 16.885! Well done ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Paws of Thunder hit a break out time of 22.909 in the second race on day 1 meaning we focused on running clean for the rest of the weekend. All the dogs put on 100% every race and we couldn’t be prouder 🌩️🌩️🌩️! Special mention to Laura and Indi on improving your starts and to Harper for not dropping her box turn all weekend!

Paws of Mischief, they may have only won 1 race the whole weekend but watching them, you wouldn’t know it! Yes there were errors but they picked themselves up and kept trucking! There were lots of little wins over the two days and we are very proud of their efforts 😈😈😈. Special mention to Cadbury, aka spicy dog, who kept her head and did some beautiful clean runs, to Judge for being reliable as ever and to Marlee for doing the most races he’s ever done in a comp and loving it! Congratulations to Russell for his Australian Flyball Champion Title! Our dogs in training had some wonderful progress while training on the Friday. Can’t wait to see these guys racing!! 💙💚💙💚
