‘Abundance is not the money you have in your bank account, the trophies on your shelf, the letters after your name, the list of goals reached, the number of people you know, your perfect body, your adoring fans.

It is your connection to each breath, how sensitive you are to every flicker of sensation and emotion in the body. It is the delight with which you savour each unique moment, the joy with which you greet each new day. It is knowing yourself as presence, the power that creates and moves worlds. It is your open heart, how deeply moved you are by love every day, your willingness to embrace, to hold what needs to be held. It is the freshness of each morning unencumbered by memory or false hope.

It is the feeling of the afternoon breeze on your cheeks, the sun warming your face. It is meeting others in the field of honesty and vulnerability, connecting beyond the story, sharing what is alive. It is your rootedness in the present moment, knowing that you are always Home, no matter what happens, no matter what is gained or what is lost. It is touching life at the point of creation, never looking back, feeling the belly rise and fall, thanking each breath.

It is falling to your knees in awe, laughing at the stories they tell, sinking more deeply into rest. It is simplicity. It is kindness. It is you, before every sunrise, fresh, open, ready... and awake.’

You are rich, friend! You are rich.~~

There is power in saying “No”, something that has taken me personally many many moons to get comfortable with...if I may advise...Get comfortable ❤️

This is a pic from a couple of weeks ago, as the sun peaks into the rice fields and lotus ponds of Canguu in Bali and as my whanau slept off a night of hitting the Bintang, a little Sunday meditation and stretch got this old girl moving.
The freedom to flow in my body comes from dropping the attachment to results in my practice of daily karakia and meditation. Paradoxically letting go of 'doing' to be "excellent" allows us to step into a space of 'being', where the body moves freer and the mind is more calm!
Peaceful hinengaro - mind = Healthy tinana-body = Happy wairua- spirit! 😇😇
Blessed week ahead ya'll 💫

“It all becomes a part of who we are. It becomes a part of the story. It is never all of it, and it is never none of it. And accepting it just as it is... just as it was ...allows for us to honor the people and experiences without needing to distort them or avoid them in hopes of not feeling what it is we may be afraid to feel.
Let it be. Just let it be. Feel into it, and allow for everything to mean something beautiful. Even the most awful things can teach us compassion, kindness, and patience; it can help us protect and teach others who will follow our resiliency. Some of our greatest pain teaches us and others the most valuable lessons.
Endings can be so difficult. Whether it's a loss of a relationship or a death, let loss become a gain. Whether you gain yourself, gain kindness, gain a lesson, gain understanding...whatever it might be, always allow for losses to become gains.
Absorb and surrender.”

“Imagine a wahine who trusts and respects herself.
A woman who listens to her needs and desires.
Who meets them with tenderness and grace.

Imagine a wahine who acknowledges the past’s influence on the present.
A woman who has walked through her past.
Who has healed into the present.

Imagine a wahine who authors her own life.
A woman who exerts, initiates, and moves on her own behalf.
Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and wisest voice.

Imagine a wahine who names her own gods.
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness.
Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life.

Imagine a wahine in love with her own body.
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is.
Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.

Imagine a wahine who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body.
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom.
Who refuses to use her life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.

Imagine a wahine who values the women in her life.
A woman who sits in circles of women.
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.

Imagine yourself as this wahine.”

Moist Pineapple Banana Bread Our four kids like slices of this moist tropical-tasting banana bread for breakfast. I sometimes bake it in mini loaf pans, then freeze the loaves so we can enjoy a small portion at a time. —Mary Watkins, Chaska, Minnesota

I’m all about the ‘COCONUT’ even married one hehe.. Here’s an easy recipe for lovers of Bounty Bars which boost the immune system and they are absolutely delicious!

BOUNTY BARS

✨ To make gently heat 1/3 cup coconut milk in a pot, add 1/4 cup coconut butter, 1/4 cup maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Once smooth and well combined add 2 cups of unsweetened desiccated coconut. Scoop into lined loaf tin, flatten and place in freezer for 1-2hrs. Next melt down 200g dark chocolate. Slice your solidified coconut mixture into 7-8 bars, then gently dip into melted chocolate and coat using 2 forks. Let excess drip off as much as possible. Place on baking paper, drizzle leftover chocolate over the top of all bars, then place in fridge to set.

Happy weekend beautiful people🌴

Our true identities are in harmony with All That Is. It is only our belief in separation that stopped us listening to the sacred voice within instead following the voice which is the blinding of the unhealed ego. We get to choose what voice we follow. If we don't heal our wounds we pass them on, and yet in the face of love can we restore ourselves and integrate the wounded self. Only in the presence of grace can we show our wounds, for it is only by this touch that they are healed. In a world that victimizes one another if we can hold compassion in our own brokenness then we can go to the place where another"s wounds are.

When our natural response is to feel empathy and compassion rather than leading with judgment and criticism we can then show up where they feel broken and vulnerable. We can sit with them in their pain because we can look our own sorrow in the eyes. Presence becomes what we can lead with.

When we can open our collective hearts we can be of service, we can turn things around when we stop judging, for all it creates is distance and pain. Empathy places us directly into each others hearts and reawakens the true authority that lives within us all.

When we have reconnected with the divine voice there is no room for fear based opinions nor direction. " Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the Peace of God."

It is there we come back into alignment and in step with harmony of All That Is and it is there that we reclaim our peace and freedom. The only way out is in. ~
