🔥The glorious winter weather continued this weekend at England Park, with the nitro boys giving it a good rev up on the track today.

A healthy turnout for Pro Tourer, 1/8 and GT8 made for the some fast and furious racing, complete with a BBQ lunch along the way😋🍽

A glorious Saturday's racing🌞🏁

It was a picture perfect afternoon to kick off another round of EP racing as drivers raced into the night at England Park🙌🏎🔋

This week also saw the addition of 6 drivers in the VTA class, adding to the usual mix of 13.5 ISTC, 21.5 ISTC and Trucks for some close racing action.

Locked in🔐🙌

🏎️QRCCRA is pleased to confirm that multi-time Italian and European Champion Natanaele Senesi R\C will be competing at this year's FEMCA ( Far East Model Car Association ) GT8 Nitro and GT8E Asian Championships to be held at England Park.

Senesi comes with an impressive resume - he was the 2025 Vice World Champion in 1/8 GTE, the 2024 1/8 GT EFRA European champion and is an eleven time AMSCI Italian National champion.

It's great to have drivers of Natanele's calibre competing at England Park and we can't wait to welcome more international drivers for the Asian Championships.

🏆The Championships will be held in conjunction with the SpeedyRC Online Store IC QLD State Titles from July 30 to August 2.

Our usual Race director's were not available for the meeting.

Nitro IC Round 5 at England Park 🏁🏎️💨

🤝🔥It was a small but eager band of nitro ninjas who chanced the unpredictable weather and hit the track in Pro Tourer, GT8 and 1/8 Scale.

🌧Morning showers left a few water-logged corners in their wake which made for some precarious driving during practice, but soon the track was humming with the sweet smell of nitro.

The rain returned later that afternoon and dashed any hopes of a longer race meet with two qualifiers for each class and a final for Pro Tourer and GT8s able to be run before it was called a day.
