Come along to our School Holiday Athletics Clinic! Athletes will have the chance to run, jump, throw and learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Whether your child is new to athletics or already competing, the clinic is designed to help them improve their technique, build confidence and most importantly, have fun!

This weekend some members of our committee attended the annual Little Athletics Qld Conference. As you can see our committee represented Algesters team spirit and love of a good dress up well! Unfortunately we didn’t win the dress up competition but we had a lot of fun and looked great 😆

⭐️⭐️Qld All Schools and Clubs Cross Country Relay Championships - 20 June 2026⭐️⭐️

🔹Algester LAC is able to enter in the clubs cross country relay championships coming up on the 20th of June at NUDGEE COLLEGE.

🔹If you would like to enter a team please email [email protected] with your complete team of 3, their running order and payment of $30 PER TEAM of 3 with the reference of your name and xc entry - entries close 15 June.

🔹All athletes must be registered with Qld Athletics as a base member, you are responsible for the entry and cost for this ($12 base membership) with QA.

🔹You are required to enter 3 athletes per team, athletes are able to participate in more than one age group, (ie they are able to compete up)

🔹Athletes Under 8 and up may enter, including masters!

🔹Please read the technical rules thoroughly in the link below. Direct any questions to QA

🔹You will require a parent to act as team manager to collect bibs on the day. Please organise this with your team.
