What a great to celebrate Queensland day!!

296 parkrunners joined in the fun for this morning's chilly parkrun. We had 31 people who acheived a PB and 39 first timers who came along.

Congratualtions to Monique who celebrated her 400th parkrun today!!!
Keith celebrate his 200th parkrun!! And Ashley celebrated her 50th!!

Thank you to our 15 volunteers!!! We are in need of a barcode scanner for next week so please let us know if you are able to help out.

🌂 UMBRELLA GIVEAWAY! 🌂

A huge thank you to Wishart parkrunner Jennifer Hunt for generously donating 4 parkrun umbrellas to give away! To be in the running, simply attend Wishart parkrun every Saturday in a given month — with at least one of those visits as a volunteer — and you’ll go into the draw as our parkrunner of the month! We’re running this giveaway from June through September, with each month’s winner drawn on the first weekend of the following month. So get those volunteer slots booked and we’ll see you out there every week!

Dust off your best maroon running gear and join us at Wishart parkrun this Saturday as we celebrate Queensland spirit on the course.

With a forecast low of 9°C and fine conditions expected, it could be the perfect morning to chase a personal best, enjoy a steady run with friends, or simply get your weekend off to a great start.

* Run Briefing: 6:55am
* Start: 7:00am sharp

This week’s volunteer roster is full, but we do have a number of volunteer opportunities available over the coming weeks. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the parkrun community, meet new people, and experience the event from a different perspective. If you’d like to help out, please consider adding your name to a future roster.

Wishart Parkrun 30th May # 577

Yep – the 7am Wishart parkrun dance completed with 338 out on the course in beautiful sunshine. Brand new parkrun attendees – 8 – were welcomed today. The PB bell rang out many times & well deserved for those achieving a PB today. The weather is perfect for a run and walk in the park at this time of year…or anytime

First in was Shane in 16:57 and Adrian 2nd 18:59. Elysia was first female in 22:08. Well done everyone !

Always thankful to those wonderful Wishart volunteers who made today possible -
