🏆 Congratulations Mr Peter Currie!

A huge congratulations to Mr Peter Currie on being voted Coach of the Year by his basketball club in New Zealand!

Peter is also the Head Coach of our Rolleston branch in New Zealand, and this recognition is a fantastic reflection of the commitment, leadership and dedication he puts into developing those around him.

We’re proud to have Peter as part of the Yun Jung Do family and to see his work being recognised both on and off the martial arts floor.

Congratulations Peter — very well deserved!

Meet Your Presenter

Master Ross Cameron

Yun Jung Do International is pleased to present Master Ross Cameron, Chief Instructor of Yun Jung Do International and one of the organisation's founding International Instructors, at this year's Annual Seminar.

Master Cameron has devoted more than five decades to the study, practice and teaching of martial arts. His relationship with Yun Jung Do began under the guidance of Founder Grandmaster Young Ku Yun and has continued for more than four decades.

As one of the original International Instructors of Yun Jung Do, Master Cameron played an important role in the development of the organisation outside its Australian headquarters. He served as a resident instructor at Yun Jung Do Headquarters in Brisbane from 1990 to 1994 and has continued to contribute to the organisation's technical and educational development.

His extensive martial arts background encompasses **Judo, Japanese Jujitsu, Kempo Karate, Taekwondo, Yun Jung Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu**, together with extensive experience in practical self-defence, coaching, competition and martial arts education.

Master Cameron holds senior qualifications across several martial arts disciplines and brings a broad understanding of traditional martial arts, contemporary training methods and the practical application of martial arts skills.

As Chief Instructor of Yun Jung Do International, Master Cameron has a key responsibility for the technical and educational direction of the art and for supporting the ongoing development of instructors within the international organisation.

His approach to teaching is grounded in understanding the principles behind movement and technique, rather than simply reproducing established forms. He places particular emphasis on developing capable instructors who understand how to teach, adapt and apply martial arts effectively.

At the Annual Seminar, Master Cameron will lead a significant component of the technical training program and present sessions drawing upon his extensive experience as a martial artist, instructor and educator.

Participants will have the opportunity to train directly under one of Yun Jung Do International's most experienced instructors, explore the practical application of the art and gain insight into the principles that underpin its technical and educational approach.

For more than four decades, Master Cameron's involvement with Yun Jung Do has reflected a continuing commitment to the development of the art, its instructors and its international community.

Meet Your Presenter

Dimitri Piliouras

Yun Jung Do International is pleased to have Dimitri Piliouras presenting at this year's Annual Seminar.

Dimitri serves as the Director of Administration for Yun Jung Do International and is an important member of the organisation's international leadership team.

His experience combines martial arts with business, communication, marketing and organisational development, giving him a broad understanding of what is required to develop a modern and successful martial arts organisation.

Dimitri works closely with the international leadership team and affiliated clubs, contributing to the development of the systems, structures and resources that support Yun Jung Do instructors and students around the world.

His contribution extends beyond administration. Dimitri has a strong interest in instructor development, leadership, communication and the practical skills required to build strong martial arts communities.

At the Annual Seminar, Dimitri will present sessions designed to complement the physical training program by exploring the broader role of the martial arts instructor and the responsibilities that come with leadership.

His presentations will provide practical ideas and information that instructors can take back to their own clubs and apply within their teaching and organisational activities.

We look forward to having Dimitri share his experience with instructors and members from across the Yun Jung Do International community at this year's Annual Seminar.
