The Australian Country Championships saw Queensland teams produce outstanding performances on the national stage, with the Queensland Women crowned National Champions and the Queensland Men finishing with a Bronze Medal.

The program is delivered from the State Hockey Centre, providing students with the opportunity to undertake their studies in an authentic sporting environment alongside Hockey Queensland.

Students can connect their classroom learning with the practical delivery of hockey and gain valuable exposure to how coaching, participation, athlete development and sporting organisations operate in the real world.

Speak with your school's VET Coordinator or register your interest with TAFE Queensland to find out more about the next Hockey Queensland TAFE at School intake at the State Hockey Centre. The teams will meet in Brisbane on Monday 28th September for a 3 Match Series vs New Zealand, and will play games on Thursday 1st, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October.

Our first Hockey Tots session was a fantastic success, with 13 toddlers joining us at the State Hockey Centre for a morning full of fun, movement, and discovery. ❤️

Our final August Hockey Tots session is now full, reflecting the incredible interest in the program. If you missed out this time, don't worry! Be sure to keep an eye out for future Hockey Tots sessions planned before the end of the year. We can't wait to welcome even more tiny superstars onto the turf for their own hockey adventure.
