Yesterday, the Keperra Weekend Women's Team took on Nudgee GC at McLeod today, going down 6–1.
Despite the score line, the result didn’t reflect the standard of golf played. A number of players bettered their handicaps, an outstanding effort, but sadly it simply wasn’t their day.
Kea and Ange deserve special recognition for their determination, both battling hard to square their matches as GA underdogs.
Once again, the caddy support was excellent. A big shoutout to Kate Outridge on her caddying debut, playing an important role in helping Kea secure a half.

A big congratulations to our Midweek Women’s Pennant Team, who this morning secured a strong victory over Ashgrove Golf Club, with the match played at Redcliffe GC.
The final result was 4.5 to 2.5, with wins to Ally Maguire, Kymmi Roberts, Kaelene Clarke (again), and Michelle Lavin, while Julie Watson secured an important half in her match.
The team now heads to Royal Queensland next week for the final round of the season, where they will take on Virginia GC. KCGC remains tied at the top of the pennant ladder alongside Royal Queensland with one round to play. With RQ having a bye next week, a win or a halved match for KCGC will be enough to secure the pennant.
Another fantastic team performance, with the side placing itself firmly in the box seat heading into the final round.

Round 5 saw the Weekend Pennant team take on Indooroopilly at Oxley Golf Course, with Keperra securing a strong 4.5–2.5 victory. Solid wins from Kea, Ange, and the Tyler sisters, Bonita and Cass. A late illness in the team opened the door for Cass Tyler to make her first appearance of the 2026 season — and she made it count with a 5/4 win.
A special thank you goes to Ally, Sandra, and Mags, who stepped in as caddies at short notice. Their willingness to help reflects exactly what makes Keperra such a great club. When a team needs help, there is always someone ready to put their hand up.
Well done, team — a great result!

Congratulations to our Women’s Midweek Pennant side, who this morning recorded an outstanding 5/2 victory over competition leaders Redcliffe. As a result, the team has now drawn level at the top of the leaderboard alongside RQ and Redcliffe with 2 rounds left in the Competition.
Standout performances once again came from Kaelene Clarke with a dominant 7/6 win, and Sandy Allen, who stepped in to secure an impressive 6/5 victory. Julie Watson and Alison Terry also contributed strong wins, while Kymmi Roberts and Michelle Lavin halved their matches.
A fantastic team performance against the competition leaders—congratulations to all involved.
