Huge congratulations to our Golf Course Superintendent, Dan Spary, who took home the Golf Course Turf Apprentice of the Year Award (presented by Toro) at the Queensland Golf Industry Awards last night!

This state-wide award recognizes the brightest emerging talent in sports turf management, and we couldn't think of a more deserving winner. He was nominated and judged across several rigorous criteria, including:

• Academic Excellence: Outstanding dedication to his Certificate III qualifications in Sports Turf Management.

• On-the-Job Mastery: Exceptional technical skills in keeping our greens, irrigation, and overall presentation in great condition.

• Leadership & Vision: Proving himself to be an incredible role model for our team, and acting as a true ambassador for the turf industry.

We are incredibly lucky to have his work ethic, passion, and expertise leading our crew and shaping our course every single day.

FREE EVENT for the disabled community!

If you’d like to get active, learn a new skill and meet new people, then this FREE ‘Come & Try’ golf clinic is for you, at: Oxley Golf Club – First Monday of each month between 11am and 1pm. Therefore next clinic is on Monday 5th October. **This is a Public Holiday - clinic still going ahead.**

No prior experience in Golf is needed – just come along and give it a try. This clinic is open to all ages and genders who are living with autism, intellectual disability, vision impairment, Down syndrome, amputation, limb difference, neurological conditions and many other disabilities.

Oxley Golf Club has a ParaGolfer available - This all-terrain, revolutionary mobility device allows individuals to move into a standing position, replicating the full golfing experience. It is used by individuals with paraplegia, quadriplegia, spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, and more, as seen on the TODAY Show and 7 Sunrise.

The clinic is run by an accredited specialist coach who provides expert advice and guidance.

Our Junior Clinics at Oxley Golf Club are designed to introduce kids to the game of golf, teaching essential rules and etiquette in a fun, laid-back atmosphere where they can make new friends. No membership required! These classes follow a clear progression with new levels, so you can easily track your child’s improvement as they advance in skill.
