JUNIOR SUPER 6 FINALS TONIGHT!

It's the last Friday night of our Super 6 competition for our juniors, and despite the storm last night, FINALS ARE ON!

Due to a couple of late withdrawals and pitch 1 still being unplayable, we have a slightly revised draw for this evening - please check this on our TeamApp post.

JUNIOR SUPER 6 FINALS THIS FRIDAY!

We have now completed the main Junior Super 6 draw (any more make up games just isn't possible so near to Xmas!), and are today announcing the draw for Finals, which will be held on Friday evening at the club!

Check the post on TeamApp for the fixture details - those listed in yellow are the grand finals for each age group. Note also that the U6/U7 comp will also have an extra round on Friday, and team managers will be emailed separately on this schedule.

As per the seniors, please advise Kylie on [email protected] asap if your team can't fulfil it's fixture on Friday, so that we can inform your opponents in a timely manner.

It promises to be a great end to what has been a challenging competition for everyone, especially the organising committee (who deserve a medal for producing 4 redraws over 8 weeks due to the weather!).

SENIOR SUPER 6 UPDATE:

We are working hard to ensure our Senior Super 6 teams get as many games in as possible given recent postponements due to the weather. We have therefore scheduled make up games for TONIGHT AND THURSDAY to complete the competition. Please see the image below for fixture schedule.

If any teams are unable to fulfil their fixture, please email Kylie on [email protected] asap so we can inform your opponents!

Also note, we are intending to play finals for the Senior Super 6 comp on Friday 10th Dec, alongside the Junior Finals.

JUNIOR SUPER 6 IS ON TONIGHT- SEE AMENDED KICK OFF TIMES BELOW

We have assessed the fields this morning and can confirm Junior Super 6 tonight is ON!

However, one of the Super 6 fields (pitch 1) is too wet still, so we have revised the playing times slightly to allow play on pitches 2, 3 and 4 only. Note that U6/U7 comp is not affected.

Apologies for the late notice, but we are doing our best to ensure everyone gets to play tonight!

We are confident that pitch 1 will be fine for Saturday's fixtures, which will proceed at the scheduled times.

SUPER 6 OFF TONIGHT BUT ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY!

Hi All,

The pitch is still quite wet so we have reluctantly had to postpone TONIGHT’S Senior Super 6 fixtures

However, we ARE planning on going ahead with Junior Super 6 fixtures on Friday AND Saturday nights, subject to their being no more rain! The fixtures for Friday and Saturday will be as per last weekend’s draw (dates 26 & 27 Nov)

Thanks for your patience on this – it’s been a nightmare with La Nina this last month!

Finally, if any Junior teams are unable to fulfill their fixtures this weekend, please email kylie on [email protected] so we can inform your opponents.

SUPER 6 UPDATE - SENIOR GAMES OFF TONIGHT - JUNIOR & SENIOR COMP REVAMP IN PROCESS

Once again the weather has beaten us, and we have had to postpone tonight's Senior Super 6 games due to the fields getting a soaking again!

FYI This Friday's Junior Super 6 will definitely go ahead as planned (subject to the weather!), and we will be announcing a competition revamp in the next 24 hours to take into account the postponements in recent weeks.

JUNIOR SUPER 6 POSTPONED TONIGHT & TOMORROW

We have left it as late as we possibly could to see if the rain subsided, but unfortunately we will have to postpone tonight's Junior Super 6 games due to waterlogged pitches.

We have also made the call to postpone Saturday’s scheduled make up games also as the fields will not be fit to play on by then.

In terms of our visit by the Brisbane Roar, this has also been postponed unfortunately. We will reorganise this for as soon as possible (depending on their commitments).
