COACHING OPPORTUNITIES 2027 // U10-18 FQ Academy Positions

🔵 UQFC strongly believes that Coaches at all levels play a crucial role in ensuring football is an enjoyable experience whether playing simply for fun or striving to reach the highest level possible.

🟡 Academy Boys and Girls Head Coaches are responsible for developing players focusing on technical and tactical mastery, enjoyment, and intelligent play.

⚽ Key Responsibilities include planning and delivering two high-quality, age-appropriate training sessions per week based on the Academy Game Model.

⚽ Managing game-day coaching, including rotation of player minutes to promote all-round development.

⚽ Collaboration with the Junior Academy Director on session plans, player evaluations, and parent communication.

⚽ Attend regular coach education workshops and contribute to Academy community events.

⚽ Desired Skills & Qualifications include FFA Foundation of Football (minimum) or working towards. Ideally C Diploma

⚽ Strong communication and rapport with children and parents.
⚽ Demonstrated knowledge of holistic player development and a passion for youth football.

UQFC is now accepting expressions of interest for the position of Head Coach Under 23 QPL Women for Season 2027.

The successful candidate will lead a young,talented group of players with a focus on developing them for first team football while working closely with the wider coaching group.

END OF SEASON CELEBRATION 2026 // 💙💛❤️

TODAY the UQFC Community comes together as a whole and over 1,000 Junior players will join to celebrate our challenges ⭐️ our successes ⭐️ our players ⭐️our supporters ⭐️ and our love of this game. ⏰ Gates open from 1pm - Kick Off is at 2:00pm - 💥Final Whistle is at 7pm - There will be NO added extra time. We will see you at the far post !! Enjoy !! 🤩

⚽ 5:00pm- 6:30 pm - Rides and Inflatables RE-OPEN for final 1.5 hours

👉Sunday 20 September

REMINDER // If you are intending to set up a shade tent for your team/family celebration on Sunday 20 September please note that whilst the day officially kicks off with ride wristband collections from 1pm and all rides opening at 2:00 PM - you CAN set up your "home dugout" earlier.

✅ TENT/ MARQUEE SET UP: From 8am on Sunday 20 September
😁 ACCESS: Take the Marshall Lane exit and access the lower field via the KATUNGA STREET Pedestrian BRIDGE or from the carparks on HEPWORTH Street.
⛔️ CAR PARK Will be CLOSED and access restricted to ensure the safety of children onsite

ℹ️ LARGE FUN FAIR RIDES - Lower Field Carpark
🚽 TOILETS: Portaloo's: Lower Field Carpark
🍧 FOOD TRUCKS & DRINKS: Bottom of the HILL

GRAND FINALS // FQ Academy League 🙌

Some of Queensland's brightest young footballers are set to take centre stage this weekend as teams battle for Championship glory across Luxury Paints Stadium, AJ Kelly Park, Carmichael Park and Moreton Bay Sports Complex.

With silverware on the line and a season's worth of hard work culminating in one final challenge, the state's premier youth talent goes head-to-head in pursuit of Grand Final success!

In addition to the letter drop, please be advised that UQFC's end of season celebration this coming weekend at Cubberla/Akuna Oval will include a 15 minute FIREWORK & LASER LIGHT SHOW.

Please ensure all neighbourhood pets are kept indoors, securely restrained or simply distracted as necessary to ensure their safety and well-being.
