This week we celebrate the true heart of UQFC - our many volunteers.

From those of you that coach and manage our community teams, to those of you who mow, line mark, put out the goals and corner flags each weekend look after the weekly washing of team playing kits, prepare and provide mid game snacks and generally step up to support our players both on the field and behind the scenes…we thank and appreciate you.

A special shout‑out to our uniforms volunteers, who in 2026 have taken on considerably more responsibilities as we have rolled out new playing kits for our younger age groups and are currently working to expand this upgrade into 2027 for our u13+ and senior competitive teams.

We are very grateful for all the help we receive and are always open to welcoming more volunteers in whatever capacity and for whatever minutes or hours you might be able to share.

Last but but least, to those of you who make up the Junior & Senior Committees who continue to give your all to the Club and our Community , you know who you are and it is a pleasure working with each and every one of you .

If your school football season is coming to an end and you are keen to join a local team and continue playing through to September, UQFC has very limited positions available in our competitive U13-18 age groups.

If you are interested and want to come along and check out who we are and what we have to offer - simply complete the EOI and if we still have space in your age group - we will invite you along to join us at our next training session.
